In the lapidarium, there is a sculptor who studied at the time of student demonstrations and graduated in the study of the influences of East Asian philosophies on Modern Art, which also strongly marked his sculpture. The summer cycle, part of which is presented at the present exhibition, has been created since 2003.
"The sculptor, who says that the stone caresses, has created many petrified flowers in the stone, and these require the touch of the viewer. Only the palm experiences the edge between the smoothed and rough surface and travels along the smoothed shape of the fragment of the plant body. The statues processed by Bezlaj are created to require touch. They try to establish with the viewer the same relationship that the sculptor had with them.", noted art historian Petja Grafenauer, among others, in the exhibition's catalogue.
