The Council of the Institute of Youth Center Velenje publishes a public call for the vacancy of the director of the public Institute of Youth center Velenje.
Applicants who are going to apply for a vacancy must meet the following conditions:
social studies at least 2. degrees, university degrees (previous);
at least two years of work experience in a similar position;
professional and leadership skills;
knowledge of the Slovenian language (high level).
Candidates for the position of director must attach to the application for the call the work program and the development vision of the operation of the Institute for the next term of office.
Candidates must also attach to the application for the call :
CV with a description of the knowledge and skills acquired by the candidates;
a copy of the document or certificate of educational attainment, which must show the type of study programme and the direction of education, as well as the year and institution at which the education was obtained;
description of the required work experience (the description must include an indication of the employer or other natural or legal person for whom the candidate performed the work, the start and end date of the performance of the work and the job description);
proof of working age-printout of insurance periods;
declaration on high-level knowledge of the Slovenian language;
statement of the candidate that he is a citizen of the Republic of Slovenia,
a statement by the candidate that he is not legally convicted of an intentional crime prosecuted ex officio and that he is not sentenced to an unconditional prison sentence of more than six months;
a statement by the candidate that no final charge has been brought against him for an intentional crime prosecuted ex officio;
a statement that, for the purpose of the tender procedure, it allows the Council of the MC institution publishing the tender to obtain the necessary data from the official records;
It is considered that the candidate has the appropriate level of necessary knowledge of Slovenian if he has achieved his seventh-level education at a Slovenian school. Candidates who do not have completed the relevant Slovenian school prove the necessary knowledge of Slovenian with a special certificate from an officially accredited educational institution about the successful completion of the Slovene proficiency test according to the publicly valid educational programme of the relevant level in the Republic of Slovenia. In doing so, it is considered that a high level of active knowledge of Slovenian is mastered by anyone who has successfully passed the test according to the educational program for the Slovenian gymnasium or this corresponding four-year high school.
The director is appointed by the Council of the public Institute Youth Centre Velenje by a majority vote of all members, on the basis of a public call. The board of the Youth center Velenje Institute must obtain the consent of the founder before the appointment of the director. The appointment will be scheduled for 1. June 2026.
The term of office of the director shall be five (5) years and may be reappointed at the end of that period.
The successful candidate will conclude a fixed-term employment contract, for the duration of the term, with the chairman of the Council of the public institution.
Candidates must submit an application with proof of fulfilment of the tender conditions within 8 days after the publication of this call (no later than 6.03.2026), in a sealed envelope, sent by registered mail to the address: Council of the Institute Youth center Velenje, Shaleska cesta 3, 3320 Velenje with the note: "Do Not Open – apply for the call for director of the public Institute Youth center Velenje".
Untimely applications will not be included in the selection process.
Registered candidates will be notified of the selection within 8 days of the adoption of the nomination decision.

Public call for a vacancy-director of a public institution
Svet zavoda Mladinskega centra Velenje objavlja javni razpis za prosto delovno mesto direktorja javnega zavoda Mladinski center Velenje.
Kandidati, ki se bodo prijavili na prosto delovno mesto, morajo izpolnjevati naslednje pogoje:
družboslovna smer najmanj visokošolske 2. stopnje, visokošolske univerzitetne izobrazbe (prejšnja);
najmanj dve leti delovnih izkušenj na podobnem delovnem mestu;
strokovne in vodstvene sposobnosti;
znanje slovenskega jezika (visoka raven).
Kandidati za direktorja morajo k prijavi na razpis priložiti program dela in razvojno vizijo delovanja zavoda za naslednje mandatno obdobje.
Kandidati morajo k prijavi na razpis priložiti tudi :
življenjepis z opisom znanj in veščin, ki jih je kandidati pridobil;
kopija listine oz. potrdila o doseženi izobrazbi, iz katere morajo biti razvidna vrsta študijskega programa in smer izobrazbe ter leto in ustanova, na kateri je bila izobrazba pridobljena;
opis zahtevanih delovnih izkušenj (opis mora vsebovati navedbo delodajalca oz. druge fizične ali pravne osebe, za katero je kandidat opravljal delo, datum začetka in konca opravljanja dela ter opis dela);
dokazilo o delovni dobi - izpis o obdobjih zavarovanja;
izjavo o znanju slovenskega jezika na visoki ravni;
izjavo kandidata, da je državljan Republike Slovenije,
izjavo kandidata, da ni pravnomočno obsojen zaradi naklepnega kaznivega dejanja, ki se preganja po uradni dolžnosti in da ni obsojen na nepogojno kazen zapora v trajanju več kot šest mesecev;
izjavo kandidata, da zoper njega ni vložena pravnomočna obtožnica zaradi naklepnega kaznivega dejanja, ki se preganja po uradni dolžnosti;
izjavo, da za namen razpisnega postopka dovoljuje Svetu zavoda MC, ki objavlja razpis, pridobitev potrebnih podatkov iz uradnih evidenc;
Šteje se, da ima kandidat ustrezno raven potrebnega znanja slovenščine, če je izobrazbo sedme stopnje dosegel na slovenski šoli. Kandidati, ki nimajo končane ustrezne slovenske šole, potrebno znanje slovenščine dokazujejo s posebnim potrdilom uradno pooblaščene izobraževalne ustanove o uspešno opravljenem preizkusu znanja slovenščine po javno veljavnem izobraževalnem programu ustrezne stopnje v Republiki Sloveniji. Pri tem se šteje, da visoko raven aktivnega znanja slovenščine obvlada, kdor je uspešno opravil preizkus po izobraževalnem programu za slovensko gimnazijo oziroma tej ustrezno štiriletno srednjo šolo.
Direktorja imenuje svet javnega zavoda Mladinski center Velenje z večino glasov vseh članov, na podlagi javnega razpisa. Svet zavoda Mladinski center Velenje si mora pred imenovanjem direktorja pridobiti soglasje ustanovitelja. Imenovani bo nastopil mandat predvidoma s 1. junijem 2026.
Mandat direktorja traja pet (5) let in je po izteku te dobe lahko ponovno imenovan.
Izbrani kandidat bo sklenil pogodbo o zaposlitvi za določen čas, za čas trajanja mandata, s predsednikom sveta javnega zavoda.
Kandidati morajo prijavo z dokazili o izpolnjevanju razpisnih pogojev posredovati v roku 8 dni po objavi tega razpisa (najkasneje do 6.03.2026), v zaprti ovojnici, poslano priporočeno na naslov: Svet zavoda Mladinski center Velenje, Šaleška cesta 3, 3320 Velenje s pripisom: »Ne odpiraj – prijava na razpis za direktorja javnega zavoda Mladinski center Velenje«.
Nepravočasne prijave ne bodo uvrščene v izbirni postopek.
