According to folk tradition, Gregor's is the day of lovers or the day when the birds get married. Love stories, such and such, are also not lacking in the works of art in the National Gallery.
Guided by the permanent collection, we will delve mainly into Ancient Love Stories, which in their forcefulness, immediacy and strangeness echoed in painting from the Renaissance onwards. Next to the works of art, we will talk about princesses on white horses, love quadrangles and women who took off the heads of men.

Gregorjevo je po ljudskem izročilu dan zaljubljencev ali dan, ko se ptički ženijo. Ljubezenskih zgodb, takšnih in drugačnih, ne manjka tudi na umetninah v Narodni galeriji.
Na vodstvu po Stalni zbirki se bomo poglobili predvsem v antične ljubezenske zgodbe, ki so v svoji silovitosti, neposrednosti in nenavadnosti odmevale v slikarstvu od renesanse naprej. Ob umetninah se bomo pogovarjali o princesah na belih konjih, ljubezenskih četverokotnikih in ženskah, ki so moškim snele glavo.
