The most important Slovenian painter was part of a generation of realists. She worked in the spirit of realism, with an emphasis on close observation and depiction of the real world. Most of her creation is represented by figures, mainly portraits and scenes from everyday life. She lived in important artistic cities, including Paris, Berlin and Vienna. This year marks a hundred years since her death.
Najpomembnejša slovenska slikarka je bila del generacije realistov. Delala je v duhu realizma, s poudarkom na natančnem opazovanju in upodabljanju resničnega sveta. Večino njenega ustvarjanja predstavljajo figure, predvsem portreti in prizori iz vsakdanjega življenja. Živela je v pomembnih umetniških mestih, med njimi Pariz, Berlin in Dunaj. Letos mineva sto let od njene smrti.
