The Istrian cycling marathon 2026 will return to Slovenian Istria this year, where it will be 26. and 27. September 2026 hosts the event Izola . The central venue will be on the asphalt Arena at the shipyard, and the routes will take the participants through many places in the hinterland of Slovenian Istria.
The event is intended for all lovers of cycling , recreation , active leisure and Istrian cuisine . In addition to cycling routes, the event will also be enriched by accompanying offers for families, children and visitors .
This year's novelty is an additional competition in skill riding a bicycle , which will take place on Saturday at 14. uri and is intended for children aged 7 to 12 years . In addition , the traditional Kapko mini marathon, suitable for the youngest children from 0 to 6 years old, remains part of the program . For the participants of the marathon , in cooperation with Bernardin hotels, there is also a special offer of accommodation, which includes packages with registration fee and accommodation . The package can be selected when registering for the event.
As part of the event , the Istrian market will also take place, where local providers of cuisine, crafts and other services will be presented . As part of the cooperation with municipalities, the presentation is provided free of charge to the providers .

Istrski kolesarski maraton 2026 se letos vrača v slovensko Istro, kjer bo 26. in 27. septembra 2026 gostiteljica dogodka Izola . Osrednje prizorišče bo na asfaltnem prizorišču pri ladjedelnici, trase pa bodo udeležence popeljale skozi številne kraje v zaledju slovenske Istre.
Dogodek je namenjen vsem ljubiteljem kolesarjenja , rekreacije , aktivnega preživljanja prostega časa in istrske kulinarike . Poleg kolesarskih tras bo dogajanje obogatila tudi spremljevalna ponudba za družine, otroke in obiskovalce .
Letošnja novost je dodatno tekmovanje v spretnostni vožnji s kolesom , ki bo potekalo v soboto ob 14. uri in je namenjeno otrokom, starim od 7 do 12 let . Poleg tega ostaja del programa tudi tradicionalni Kapkov mini maraton , primeren za najmlajše otroke od 0 do 6 let . Prijave na oba otroška dogodka so že odprte, število mest pa je omejeno. Za udeležence maratona je v sodelovanju s Hoteli Bernardin pripravljena tudi posebna ponudba namestitev , ki vključuje pakete s kotizacijo in nastanitvijo . Paket je mogoče izbrati ob prijavi na dogodek.
V okviru dogodka bo potekala tudi Istrska tržnica , kjer se bodo lahko predstavili lokalni ponudniki kulinarike, obrti in drugih storitev . Predstavitev je v sklopu sodelovanja z občinami za ponudnike omogočena brezplačno .
