The performance within the art VITAL project is performed by Katarina Stegnar and Primoz Bezjak.
Reperformans are a living part of the exhibition. They breathe new life into iconic performances, sharpen our awareness that history continues with us and through us, and create from performance art a field in which social change takes place. In preparation for the performance, Katarina Stegnar and Primoz Bezjak attended the Cleaning the House Workshop, which took place at the Marina Abramovi Institute in Greek caries. The artists did not eat, talk or read for five days, they were also without a watch, phone and other electronic devices all the time. During the workshop, they performed several longer exercises to strengthen focus, endurance and concentration.
A SIMILAR ILLUSION (1981
In a given space.
Several tables are arranged to form a large rectangular frame.
The tables are covered with white tablecloths.
On the tables there are water glasses and jugs filled with drinking water.
Performance.
Inside the rectangular space, we stand in a tango position.
An Argentine tango called "Jealousy"is played aloud continuously.
We remain motionless in the same position.
The performance ends when our outstretched arms finally SAG.

Performans v okviru projekta ART VITAL izvajata Katarina Stegnar in Primož Bezjak.
Reperformansi so živi del razstave. Ikoničnim performansom vdahnejo novo življenje, izostrijo naše zavedanje, da se zgodovina nadaljuje z nami in skozi nas, ter iz umetnosti performansa ustvarjajo polje, na katerem se dogajajo družbene spremembe. Katarina Stegnar in Primož Bezjak sta se v okviru priprav za nastop udeležila delavnice Cleaning the House, ki je potekala na Inštitutu Marine Abramović v grškem Kariesu. Umetnika pet dni nista jedla, govorila ali brala, ves čas sta bila tudi brez ure, telefona in drugih elektronskih naprav. V času delavnice sta opravila več daljših vaj, s katerimi sta krepila fokus, vzdržljivost in koncentracijo.
A SIMILAR ILLUSION (1981)
V danem prostoru.
Več miz je razporejenih tako, da tvorijo velik pravokoten okvir.
Mize so prekrite z belimi prti.
Na mizah so kozarci za vodo in vrči, napolnjeni s pitno vodo.
Performans.
Znotraj pravokotnega prostora stojiva v položaju za tango.
Neprekinjeno se glasno predvaja argentinski tango z naslovom »Ljubosumje«.
Negibna ostajava v istem položaju.
Performans se konča, ko se najine iztegnjene roke nazadnje povesijo.
