Twelve-year-old Alma and her father move to a new neighborhood in Ljubljana, which is a skateboarding nest of classmate Luna. Not only do Alma and Luna not get along very well from the beginning, the friction between them begins to intensify more seriously. When Alma learns that the construction company where her father works is going to demolish the popular playground in front of the green tree block and build a car park there, she has no choice but to join forces with her worst opponent and her company in the fight for the playground, trees and clean air. The team has a week to save the field.

Klemen Dvornik (1977) works in the field of audiovisual industry and is known to the general public as the director of one of the most successful Slovenian serials Jezero (2019). He was awarded several times for his creation. He is an active member of various professional associations, and since 2016 he has been teaching television directing at AGRFT.

"As a father of two sons, I have the opportunity to see with my own eyes how childhood is different today: Cowboys and Indians in front of the house were replaced by digital battles, best friends do not live on the next street, but on a neighboring continent, bloody knees and noses were replaced by burning eyes and depression. With the film, The Playground is not given! I want to bring children closer to the beauty of outdoor play and socializing with their peers, sending them the message that we should never give up, because if we act together, we can contribute to change and build a better future! Dvanajstletna Alma se z očetom preseli v novo sosesko v Ljubljani, ki pa je skejtersko gnezdo sošolke Lune. Ne le da se Alma in Luna že od začetka ne razumeta najbolje, med njima se začnejo trenja resneje stopnjevati. Ko Alma izve, da bo gradbeno podjetje, kjer je zaposlen njen oče, porušilo priljubljeno igrišče pred blokom z zelenimi drevesi vred in tam zgradilo parkirišče za avtomobile, ji v boju za igrišče, drevesa in čist zrak ne preostane drugega, kot da združi moči s svojo najhujšo nasprotnico in njeno druščino. Ekipa ima teden dni časa, da reši igrišče.

Klemen Dvornik (1977) ustvarja na področju avdiovizualne industrije, širši javnosti pa je med drugim znan kot režiser ene najbolj uspešnih slovenskih nadaljevank Jezero (2019). Za svoje ustvarjanje je bil večkrat nagrajen. Je aktiven član različnih stanovskih združenj, od leta 2016 pa poučuje televizijsko režijo na AGRFT.

» Kot oče dveh sinov imam priložnost na lastne oči videti, kako je danes otroštvo drugačno: kavbojce in indijance pred hišo so zamenjale digitalne bitke, najboljši prijatelji ne živijo v sosednji ulici, ampak na sosednjem kontinentu, krvava kolena in nosove so zamenjale pekoče oči in depresija. S filmom Igrišča ne damo! želim otrokom približati lepoto zunanje igre in druženja z vrstniki ter jim poslati sporočilo, da nikoli ne smemo obupati, ker če delujemo skupaj, lahko prispevamo k spremembi in gradimo boljšo prihodnost!
