On Monday, 10. in March, at 20.00 at the House of film in Gorizia, the screening of the documentary Gram hearts by director Jan Cvitkovic will be shown.
The director enters the world of addicts on the streets of Ljubljana, talks to them and listens to their stories. The Film does not seek sensationalism, but authentically and honestly portrays the lives of those who face addiction. Through the lengthy filming process, the creators built trust with the protagonists, who shared their experiences and difficult life stories.
Gram of heart is not just a documentary about addiction, but a film about the lack of warmth and security in childhood, about the emptiness that individuals try to fill, but can never be completely filled. Cvitkovich and director of photography Aleksander Petric explored the streets of Ljubljana without a preliminary script, recording conversations and looking for beauty in a world where it seems to be absent. The Film was created in collaboration with producer Bostjan Brezovnik, with Editing by Milos Kalusek and sound design by Bostjan Kachicnik.

Režiser na ljubljanskih ulicah vstopa v svet odvisnikov, se z njimi pogovarja in prisluhne njihovim zgodbam. Film ne išče senzacionalizma, temveč pristno in iskreno prikazuje življenja tistih, ki se soočajo z odvisnostjo. Ustvarjalci so skozi dolgotrajen proces snemanja vzpostavili zaupanje s protagonisti, ki so delili svoje izkušnje in težke življenjske zgodbe.
Gram srca ni zgolj dokumentarec o odvisnosti, temveč film o pomanjkanju topline in varnosti v otroštvu, o praznini, ki jo posamezniki poskušajo zapolniti, a se nikoli ne da popolnoma zapolniti. Cvitkovič in direktor fotografije Aleksander Petric sta brez vnaprejšnjega scenarija raziskovala ljubljanske ulice, snemala pogovore in iskala lepoto v svetu, kjer se zdi, da je ni. Film je nastal v sodelovanju s producentom Boštjanom Brezovnikom, montažo pa je oblikoval Miloš Kalusek, zvok pa Boštjan Kačičnik.
