We invite you to explore graphic creativity in the graphic arts course under the mentorship of academic graphic artist Janko Orac . This year's creation will be devoted to the dry needle technique, and the starting point will be the works and related mental and artistic moves in the oeuvres of Bogdan Borchi / and Karl Zelenko . Through the deepening of our skills, we will explore the relationships between Line, Trace and void and develop our own graphic expression in dialogue with the technique.
We invite everyone who is pleased to creatively create and learn new skills. The course is suitable for both beginners and those who already master various graphic techniques.
The course is prepared in cooperation with Jskd Oi Krsko. It will be held on Tuesdays, 10., 17. and 24. February and 3. and 10. March , at 17. hours, and to the extent of 15 hours (5 meetings of 3 hours ).
The registration fee for five meetings is 50/. Members of the GBJ Friends Club can claim a 20% discount.

About mentor:
Janko Orac was born on the 3rd. in June 1958. In 1997 he graduated from the school of drawing and painting, higher professional school in Ljubljana, with prof. Dusan Kirbish. He completed his postgraduate studies in art graphics ALU in Zagreb with Prof. Nevenki Arbanas and obtained the title of University Specialist Graphic Artist. He has received numerous awards for his work at home and abroad. He has the status of a free artistic creator, creates in the field of painting, drawing, graphics and spatial layouts. Between 2003 and 2016 he was the art editor of Rast magazine, where he represented numerous artists from the area of Dolenjska, Bela Krajina and Posavje. He is the author and head of art symposia Art days, Zibika – Tinsko and Valvasor international graphic days.

Grafični tečaj za odrasle

Galerija Božidar Jakac – pedagoški prostori
Vabimo vas k raziskovanju grafične ustvarjalnosti na tečaju grafike pod mentorstvom akademskega grafičarja Janka Orača . Letošnje ustvarjanje bomo posvetili tehniki suhe igle, izhodišče pa bodo dela ter sorodne miselne in likovne poteze v opusih Bogdana Borčića in Karla Zelenka . Prek poglabljanja naših spretnosti, bomo raziskovali razmerja med linijo, sledjo in praznino ter v dialogu s tehniko razvijali lasten grafični izraz.
Vabljeni vsi, ki vas veseli kreativno ustvarjanje in učenje novih veščin. Tečaj je primeren tako za začetnike kot za tiste, ki že obvladajo različne grafične tehnike.
Tečaj pripravljamo v sodelovanju z JSKD OI Krško. Potekal bo ob torkih, 10., 17. in 24. februarja ter 3. in 10. marca , ob 17. uri , in v obsegu 15 ur ( 5 srečanj po 3 ure ).
Kotizacija za pet srečanj je 50 €. Člani Kluba prijateljev GBJ lahko uveljavijo 20 % popust.

O mentorju:
Janko Orač se je rodil 3. junija 1958 v Celju. Leta 1997 je diplomiral na Šoli za risanje in slikanje, visoki strokovni šoli v Ljubljani, pri prof. Dušanu Kirbišu. Zaključil je podiplomski študij umetniške grafike ALU v Zagrebu pri prof. Nevenki Arbanas ter pridobil naziv univerzitetni specialist grafik. Za svoja dela je prejel številna priznanja doma in tujini. Ima status svobodnega likovnega ustvarjalca, ustvarja v polju slikarstva, risbe, grafike in prostorskih postavitvah. Med letoma 2003 in 2016 je bil likovni urednik revije Rast, kjer je predstavljal številne likovne ustvarjalce z območja Dolenjske, Bele krajine in Posavja. Je avtor in vodja likovnih simpozijev Novomeški likovni dnevi, Zibika – Tinsko in Valvasorjevi mednarodni grafični dnevi.
