Spend your Sunday morning in the embrace of the nature of the Arboretum, where with the help of forest therapy you will release stress, calm your thoughts and take a moment for yourself.
Forest therapy, also known as forest bathing, or “shinrin-animatoku” in Japanese, is a practice that promotes connection with nature through the senses. It developed in Japan in the 80s. in the years of the last century, in response to the increasingly common problems of stress and exhaustion. Today, Forest Therapy is recognized all over the world and is becoming increasingly popular in Slovenia. In countries such as South Korea, Scotland and Portugal, doctors include it as part of holistic health care and prescribe a “forest recipe”. The scientifically supported effects of forest therapy include reducing stress, better sleep, strengthening the immune system, improving cardiovascular health, increasing concentration, and improving overall well-being and creativity.
Forest therapy is a slow and relaxed walk that takes place in a small group. Through the mindful exploration of nature, we gradually move from thoughts to senses through the senses, which has a deeply calming effect. The meeting ends over a cup of tea.
The workshop is led by certified forest therapy practitioner Ana Hribar Podkresek. The price of one meeting is 35/person, in addition, an entrance fee to the park is paid. The price of the meeting is paid in advance by the individual to the performer, and the entrance fee is paid at the park ticket office. Season tickets to enter the park are valid. Nedeljsko dopoldne preživite v objemu narave Arboretuma, kjer boste s pomočjo gozdne terapije sprostili stres, umirili svoje misli in si vzeli trenutek zase.
Znanstveno podprti učinki gozdne terapije vključujejo zmanjšanje stresa, boljši spanec, krepitev imunskega sistema, izboljšanje srčno-žilnega zdravja, povečanje koncentracije ter izboljšanje splošnega počutja in ustvarjalnosti.
