Do you like to walk around the Arboretum in the morning? You are invited to join Thursday's forest therapy for the elderly!
Forest therapy, also known as forest bathing, or “shinrin-animatoku” in Japanese, is a practice that promotes connection with nature through the senses. It developed in Japan in the 80s. in the years of the last century, in response to the increasingly common problems of stress and exhaustion. Today, Forest Therapy is recognized all over the world and is becoming increasingly popular in Slovenia. In countries such as South Korea, Scotland and Portugal, doctors include it in holistic medical care and prescribe a “forest recipe”.
Forest therapy for the elderly is very useful, as it improves the quality of sleep, lowers blood pressure, strengthens the immune system, reduces stress and improves mood. The Arboretum is the ideal environment for this kind of relaxing practice, as it offers beautiful and safe walking paths in the embrace of nature. The meetings will include activities that strengthen your connection with nature, offer relaxation and renewal. You will also receive material for further research or how to integrate nature into everyday life, so that the latter has beneficial effects on your well-being. You can attend an individual meeting or join several appointments to deepen your experience and create a regular practice of relaxation in nature.

The workshop is led by certified forest therapy practitioner Ana Hribar Podkresek. The price of one meeting is 15 /person, the price of four meetings is 45 /person, in addition, an entrance fee to the park is paid. The price of the meeting is paid in advance by the individual to the performer, and the entrance fee is paid at the park ticket office. Season tickets to enter the park are valid. Important: meetings are recommended for anyone over 60 who can walk about 1.5 km in a slow rhythm. If you have any questions or health challenges, contact a practitioner to check together if forest therapy is right for you.
Se v dopoldanskem času radi sprehajate po Arboretumu? Vabljeni, da se pridružite četrtkovi gozdni terapiji za starejše!
Gozdna terapija, znana tudi kot gozdno kopanje ali “shinrin-yoku” v japonščini, je praksa, ki spodbuja povezovanje z naravo prek čutil. Razvila se je na Japonskem v 80. letih prejšnjega stoletja kot odgovor na vse pogostejše težave s stresom in izčrpanostjo. Danes je gozdna terapija priznana po vsem svetu in postaja vedno bolj priljubljena tudi v Sloveniji. V državah, kot so Južna Koreja, Škotska in Portugalska, jo zdravniki vključujejo v celostno zdravstveno oskrbo in predpisujejo “recept za gozd”.
Gozdna terapija za starejše osebe je zelo koristna, saj izboljšuje kakovost spanja, znižuje krvni tlak, krepi imunski sistem, zmanjšuje stres in izboljšuje razpoloženje. Arboretum je idealno okolje za tovrstno sproščujočo prakso, saj ponuja čudovite in varne sprehajalne poti v objemu narave. Srečanja bodo vključevala aktivnosti, ki krepijo vašo povezanost z naravo, nudijo sprostitev in obnovo. Prejeli boste tudi gradivo za nadaljnje raziskovanje oz. kako vključiti naravo v vsakdan, da ima slednja blagodejne učinke na vaše dobro počutje. Lahko se udeležite posameznega srečanja ali se pridružite več terminom, da poglobite svojo izkušnjo in ustvarite redno prakso sprostitve v naravi.

Delavnico vodi certificirana izvajalka gozdne terapije Ana Hribar Podkrajšek. Cena enega srečanja je 15 €/osebo, cena štirih srečanj 40 €/osebo, poleg tega se plača vstopnino v park. Ceno srečanja posameznik vnaprej poravna izvajalki, vstopnino pa pri blagajni parka. Sezonske vstopnice za vstop v park veljajo. Zberemo se pri vhodu v park.
