The United brass Orchestra of Krasa and Brkinov is returning to the concert stage after seven years. The project brings together the most talented young musicians of the Karst Brass Band Sezana, Brkinska Band 2000, the Divac Brass Band and the Komen Brass Band, who will jointly present a unique concert program.
The approximately eighty-member Wind Orchestra of a project Nature represents a special unique in the Slovenian area. It enables young musicians to continue their artistic growth and perform the most demanding works and compositions by Slovenian composers. The Program is prepared for three concerts, with which the creators want to honor the hundredth anniversary of the death of the poet lucky Kosovel.
A special place in the program will be given to the christening performance of the song to the poet by the composer Andrej Goricar, which was exclusively commissioned and written especially for this project dedicated to Happy Kosovel. The local singer Manuel Perhavec and flutist Gaja Basic will present themselves as soloists .
In the role of director and reciter, the renowned Slovenian theatre actor Vladimir Jurc will join the orchestra on stage .
The orchestra will be conducted by all four conductors of the karst – brkinian orchestras ; Mitja Tavcar, Tomaz Skamperle, Neza Jelusic and Matija Tavcar.

Združeni pihalni orkester Krasa in Brkinov se po sedmih letih ponovno vrača na koncertne odre. Projekt združuje najbolj nadarjene mlade glasbenike Kraške pihalne godbe Sežana, Brkinske godbe 2000, Pihalnega orkestra Divača in Pihalnega orkestra Komen, ki bodo s skupnimi močmi predstavili edinstven koncertni program.
Okrog osemdesetčlanski pihalni orkester projektne narave predstavlja poseben unikum v slovenskem prostoru. Mladim glasbenikom omogoča nadaljnjo umetniško rast ter izvajanje najzahtevnejših avtorskih del in skladb slovenskih skladateljev. Program je pripravljen za tri koncerte, s katerimi želijo ustvarjalci počastiti stoto obletnico smrti pesnika Srečka Kosovela.
Posebno mesto v programu bo imela krstna izvedba skladbe Pesem poetu skladatelja Andreja Goričarja, ki je bila ekskluzivno naročena in napisana posebej za ta projekt , posvečen Srečku Kosovelu. Kot solista se bosta predstavila domačina, pevec Manuel Perhavec in flavtistka Gaja Bašič .
V vlogi režiserja in recitatorja se bo orkestru na odru pridružil priznani slovenski gledališki igralec Vladimir Jurc .
Orkestru bodo dirigirali vsi štirje dirigenti kraško – brkinskih orkestrov ; Mitja Tavčar, Tomaž Škamperle, Neža Jelušič in Matija Tavčar.
