TARTINI STRING QUARTET
Miran Kolbl, violin
Romeo Drucker, violin
Aleksandar Milosev, viola
Milos Mlejnik, cello
The Tartini string quartet began its journey as a string quartet of the Slovenian Philharmonic in 1983, when the four leaders of the string groups of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra decided to test their rich technical knowledge and musical experience in the String Quartet, which is considered the noblest and at the same time the most sensitive ensemble. From the first beginnings with hardly any casual performance to the present day, they performed hundreds of concerts, saw countless concert halls and became an ambassador of Slovenian musical culture on both domestic and foreign concert stages, and collaborated with outstanding local and foreign artists.
The musicians proudly note: "to our great joy, despite the elapsed time, that original desire, freshness and joy of chamber music has not left us, which is now enriched with many years of experience and always new musical ideas."For the opening evening of the castle harmonies, they have prepared a program that binds their more than 40 years of music as if with a golden thread and will go to the music of the famous Piran baroque master, after whom the quartet is named, to the indispensable Joseph Ha / Cden and bed / Cerich Smetana, whose autobiographical violin quartet will symbolically round off the evening.
