At the hearing, and the conversation, we are not talking only about the facts of the legendary yugoslav your car, but we will find out how their YUGA 55 of the Coral-in the United states of America's team of Project Y?
About the project
Project/? it is a multi-faceted artistic and research project focused on questioning and recycling facts and myths related to the car, the phenomenon of the Yugoslav automobile industry. The idea of the project is a retelling of the story of The Art Nouveau, which also became famous due to the fact that it was exported to the American market. A four-member crew of the almost three decades since the great business of the industry, with its primerkom Yuga began a journey of Kragujevca, while the site of the former factory, the car Crvena the Flag across continental Europe against England, and continued across the pacific to New York city.
The team understands the car as an expressive symbol and carrier of the identity of a specific time period, which forms the basis for the search for new stories that rethink the past through a modern perspective. The story of the show is dynamic and dramatic in its own way. In the United States, in a relatively short time from a sales hit, the car crashed into an object of ridicule and a parable of poor quality. On the other side of the world, in the area of the former Yugoslavia, the former peak of Yugoslav industry has become a symbol of the sentimental, socialist past and a catalyst for individual and collective memories. Today, everyone has their own view of a peculiar phenomenon that, regardless of the facts, provokes smiles and elicits comments.

V četrtek, 19. decembra, v Projektni sobi SCCA gostimo predstavitev umetniško-raziskovalnega Projekta Y? umetnice Neže Knez in umetnikov Danila Milovanovića, Tonija Poljanca in Luke Erdanija .
