The exhibition by the French multidisciplinary artist Ma 6itsim Custodia, entitled Error Mudd, consists of sculptures, drawings and Paintings. These are works of small to medium-sized dimensions that together create a space that raises questions about the influences of surroundings, relationships and pop culture on the formation of our identity.
Memory is a living thing, it constantly develops, strengthens, fades and changes its composition, thereby maintaining its existence. The space in which memories reside is constantly under the pressure of traumatic events and feelings. Good and bad memories are eliminated all the time so that the brain is preserved. The exhibition tells the story of a memory that tries to escape erasure. A memory called Error Mudd.
Artist Ma 6itime Custodio creates the interconnection of narratives through installation, video, sculpture, painting, and drawing. It is a movement between reality and fiction that explores the role of images in a world already overflowing with images anyway.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ma 6itime Custodio is a French multidisciplinary artist studying at the National School of art and design in Dijon. After graduating in 2024, for which he received the jury prize, he began his academic year at the Academy of Fine Arts and design of the University of Ljubljana, where he gains new knowledge within the framework of his master's studies under the mentorship of Ksenja Chercha. His works have been presented also at the exhibition of "XXX" at Les ateliers, la Volière in Dijon, France.

V torek, 29. julija 2025, bo v Kulturnem inkubatorju ob 18. uri na odprtje razstave z naslovom Error Mudd mladega francoskega umetnika Maxima Custodia, magistrskega študenta Akademije za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje Univerze v Ljubljani. Razstava bo v Kulturnem inkubatorju na ogled do 22. avgusta 2025.
Razstavo francoskega multidisciplinarnega umetnika Maxima Custodia z naslovom Error Mudd sestavljajo skulpture, risbe in slike. Gre za dela manjših do srednje velikih dimenzij, ki skupaj ustvarjajo prostor, ki odpira vprašanja o vplivih okolice, odnosov in pop kulture na oblikovanje naše identitete.
Spomin je živa stvar, se neprestano razvija, krepi, bledi in spreminja svojo sestavo, s čimer ohranja svoj obstoj. Prostor, v katerem prebivajo spomini, je ves čas pod pritiskom travmatičnih dogodkov in občutkov. Dobri in slabi spomini se ves čas izločajo, da se možgani ohranjajo. Razstava pripoveduje zgodbo o spominu, ki skuša ubežati izbrisu. Spominu z imenom Error Mudd.
Umetnik Maxime Custodio medsebojno povezovanje pripovedi ustvarja s pomočjo instalacije, videa, kiparstva, slikarstva in risbe. Gre za gibanje med resničnostjo in fikcijo, ki raziskuje vlogo slik v svetu, že tako ali tako prepolnem slik.
O UMETNIKU
Maxime Custodio je francoski multidisciplinarni umetnik, ki študira na Nacionalni šoli za umetnost in oblikovanje v Dijonu. Po diplomi leta 2024, za katero je prejel nagrado žirije, je začel študijsko leto na Akademiji za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje Univerze v Ljubljani, kjer nova znanja pridobiva v okviru magistrskega študija pod mentorstvom Ksenje Čerče. Njegova dela so bila predstavljena tudi na razstavi „XXX“ v Les ateliers la Volière v Dijonu v Franciji.
