The exhibition presents a series of works of painting that explore the power of color contrasts and textures . The central element of the creation is the layering of colors and materials, which establishes a sense of movement and depth in the paintings. The works are carried out in the technique of acrylic on canvas, with a pronounced relief surface, created by the interweaving of brush strokes and multilayer applications of paint and other materials.
The color palette is based on intense blue tones that pair with golden and earthy hues. Their interweaving creates a simultaneously dynamic and balanced visual effect. Dominant abstract compositions without figurative elements provide the viewer with a focused experience of color, structure, rhythm and light accents.
The concept of the exhibition stems from the exploration of the materiality of the image — the relationship between color, texture and surface and their influence on perception. Individual works are created in a spontaneous but thoughtful process in which the rhythm of the Strokes is intertwined with the contrast between smooth and rough surfaces.
Author Lara Gujtman is a visual artist working in the field of painting and illustration. In 2012, she graduated from the Faculty of Education at the University of Ljubljana in the direction of art pedagogy, and before that she completed the vocational Matura at the secondary school of design and photography (SSHOF) in Ljubljana, in the direction of graphic designer.
Her artistic practice is focused on exploring color relationships and abstract compositions. Acrylic represents the central carrier of her painting expression, combining it with other materials and techniques in the creative process. The exhibition works reflect a keen sense of colour relations and an open thinking process in which art remains a space of dialogue and personal interpretation.
Razstava predstavlja serijo slikarskih del, ki raziskujejo moč barvnih kontrastov in tekstur . Osrednji element ustvarjanja je plastenje barv in materialov, ki v slikah vzpostavlja občutek gibanja in globine. Dela so izvedena v tehniki akrila na platnu, z izrazito reliefno površino, nastalo s prepletom potez čopiča ter večplastnih nanosov barve in drugih materialov.
Barvna paleta temelji na intenzivnih modrih tonih, ki se povezujejo z zlatimi in zemeljskimi odtenki. Njihovo prepletanje ustvarja hkrati dinamičen in uravnotežen vizualni učinek. Prevladujoče abstraktne kompozicije brez figurativnih elementov gledalcu omogočajo osredotočeno izkušnjo barve, strukture, ritma in svetlobnih poudarkov.
Koncept razstave izhaja iz raziskovanja materialnosti slike — odnosa med barvo, teksturo in površino ter njihovega vpliva na zaznavo. Posamezna dela nastajajo v spontanem, a premišljenem procesu, v katerem se ritem potez prepleta s kontrastom med gladkimi in grobimi površinami.
Avtorica Lara Gujtman je vizualna umetnica, ki deluje na področju slikarstva in ilustracije. Leta 2012 je diplomirala na Pedagoški fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani na smeri likovna pedagogika, pred tem pa je zaključila poklicno maturo na Srednji šoli za oblikovanje in fotografijo (SŠOF) v Ljubljani, smer grafični oblikovalec.
Njena likovna praksa je usmerjena v raziskovanje barvnih odnosov in abstraktnih kompozicij. Akril predstavlja osrednji nosilec njenega slikarskega izraza, ki ga v ustvarjalnem procesu kombinira z drugimi materiali in tehnikami. Razstavna dela odražajo izostren občutek za barvne odnose ter odprt proces razmišljanja, v katerem umetnost ostaja prostor dialoga in osebne interpretacije.
