About the author and exhibition
Kristjan Vuk is a photographer from Schempeter near Gorizia. He has been working on serious photography for about four years, mainly in the field of portrait and natural science photography. He loves to travel and explore different cultures, people and their daily lives through the lens. He experiences photography as a way of thinking about the world. In her work, she seeks authenticity, silence and the tiny human bonds that connect us regardless of the environment or culture. He believes that good photography can transcend words and reveal universal humanity.
Photos from the faces of Africa series were taken during a trip to Namibia and Tanzania. They are filmed with natural light, without directing, in spontaneous moments and direct contacts with people.
The exhibition is on display from 3. to 31. in August 2026 in a large exhibition space. Well invited.

O avtorju in razstavi
Kristjan Vuk je fotograf iz Šempetra pri Gorici. Z resnim fotografskim ustvarjanjem se ukvarja približno štiri leta in to predvsem na področju portretne in naravoslovne fotografije. Rad potuje ter skozi objektiv raziskuje različne kulture, ljudi in njihovo vsakdanje življenje. Fotografijo doživlja kot način razmišljanja o svetu. Pri svojem delu išče pristnost, tišino in drobne človeške vezi, ki nas povezujejo ne glede na okolje ali kulturo. Verjame, da lahko dobra fotografija preseže besede ter razkrije univerzalno človeškost.
Fotografije iz serije Obrazi Afrike so nastale med potovanjem po Namibiji in Tanzaniji. Posnete so z naravno svetlobo, brez režije, v spontanih trenutkih in neposrednih stikih z ljudmi.
Razstava je na ogled od 3. do 31. avgusta 2026 v velikem razstavnem prostoru. Lepo vabljeni.
