Luka Juhart is one of our most recognized performers of contemporary classical music, professor and initiator of numerous performances of new compositions and new approaches in the field of contemporary classical music, in which he combines different scenes. Uros Rojko was first a clarinetist, then switched to composing, and now he has been performing again for a long time as a clarinetist, an interpreter of his own and, less often, other works. Both are adept at improvisation, a musical activity that puts a musician trained to execute and record music perfectly in front of a new kind of risk. In improvisation, the musician depends on a key, but so often neglected musical skill – listening. In the meeting of the composer, who also actively plays music, and the instrumentalist, who also writes music, there is a certain excess over the sum of both, a surplus in musical terms. This glows from the music of Uros Rojko and Luke Juhart, who first met on stage in 2004. Since then, they have been regularly making music together, and it cannot be a coincidence that after leaving the socially ordered role of composer and performer, the musicians looked out of the music itself. Luka Juhart je eden naših najbolj priznanih izvajalcev sodobne klasične glasbe, profesor in iniciator številnih izvedb novih skladb ter novih pristopov v polju sodobne klasične glasbe, v katerih združuje različne scene. Uroš Rojko je bil najprej klarinetist, nato se je preusmeril v skladanje, zdaj pa že dalj časa ponovno nastopa tudi kot klarinetist, interpret svojih in redkeje drugih del. Oba sta vešča improvizacije, glasbene dejavnosti, ki glasbenika, izšolanega za popolno izvrševanje in zapisovanje glasbe, postavi pred novo vrsto tveganja. V improvizaciji je namreč glasbenik odvisen od ključne, a tolikokrat zapostavljene glasbene veščine – poslušanja. V srečanju skladatelja, ki tudi aktivno muzicira, in instrumentalista, ki glasbo tudi zapisuje, je neki višek nad seštevkom obojega, presežek v glasbenem smislu. To žari iz glasbe Uroša Rojka in Luke Juharta, ki sta se na odru prvič srečala leta 2004. Od takrat redno skupaj muzicirata in ne more biti naključje, da sta glasbenika po izstopu iz družbeno odrejene vloge skladatelja in izvajalca pogledala še iz glasbe same. Kam?
