The cycle of theatrical essays, as it were, will continue in the 2025/2026 season with three new staged texts. The principle remains the same-invited essayists and essayists themselves, with the help of an actress or actor from the Slovenian Youth Theatre, perform their own essay written especially for the occasion.
Among the most important events of the past year in the local area was the so-called cultural
referendum. It could be said that it was a litmus test by which the right-wing, which promoted the referendum, wanted to determine whether (and if so, how strongly) the labor force was willing to act against the labor force. The answer was: yes (and very much). But when Labor is ready to act against Labor, the authorities can do whatever they want with it.
In such a situation, is the well-known saying still true that the one who is silent answers ten? Or is silence a privilege? What is solidarity? How many are those who are not silent? Cikel gledaliških esejev Takorekoč se bo v sezoni 2025/2026 nadaljeval s tremi novimi uprizorjenimi besedili. Princip ostaja enak – vabljene_i esejistke in esejisti same_i s pomočjo igralke ali igralca iz Slovenskega mladinskega gledališča uprizorijo svoj, posebej za to priložnost napisan esej.
Med najpomembnejšimi dogodki preteklega leta v lokalnem prostoru je bil t. i. kulturniški
referendum. Lahko bi rekli, da je šlo za lakmusov test, s katerim je desnica, ki je referendum spodbudila, hotela ugotoviti, ali (in če da, kako močno) je delavstvo pripravljeno delovati proti delavstvu. Odgovor je bil: da (in to zelo). Ko pa je delavstvo pripravljeno delovati proti delavstvu, lahko oblast z njim počne, kar hoče.
Ali v takšnih razmerah še drži dobro znani rek, da tisti, ki molči, desetim odgovori? Ali pa je molk privilegij? Kaj je potem solidarnost? Kolikim odgovarja tisti, ki ne molči? Kaj takrat tvega? Nina Dragičević pravi, da vse pogosteje sliši ljudi reči, da se ponoči zbujajo zaradi skrbi. Kaj ima eno z drugim? O tem v gledališkem eseju, pravzaprav gledališki pesnitvi Omerta: vaje v slogu.
