Summer begins for curious schoolchildren in Pivka!
The Pivka Tourism Institute invites all schoolchildren and their families to join us for free holiday activities, which will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 until the end of August.

All activities are designed with intergenerational socializing in mind, so parents, grandmothers, grandfathers and all other companions are also invited.

✨ 08. 07. 2025-Comics workshop
Enter the world of stories, characters and fantasy! At the comic workshop, under the watchful eye of Jerneja Srebot, we will learn the basics of storytelling with images, create our own characters and draw our own mini-comic. With some creativity, pencil and paint, you will have quite real comic book adventures! The workshop is suitable for everyone who likes to draw, dream and tell stories.

✨ 09. 07. 2025-drawnabeseda
The exhibition of poems in graphics presents works created within the framework of a multi-year project with the same title. The project brings regional poets and their poems to the fore as inspiration for prints. Each artist chooses one song, to which he then relates his graphics, and upgrades part of the print run with intervention.
Mentor Silvija Shutej will first show the children the exhibition, then they will read poems and start creating. Children will choose from the poem The one that will appeal to them the most. Depending on the inspiration, they will create a drawing with crayons, and then, like artists, they will add an intervention that will not be in the drawing technique.

✨ 11. 07. 2025-Journey Through legend
The children will be visited by a very special guest – the bibliobus of the Postojna City Library! This traveling library impresses not only with a rich collection of books and two friendly librarians, ROK and Senia, but also with a beautiful external image, in which the legendary heroes – The Shepherd Jacob and Martin Krpan-greet.
Learning about their stories, children will venture into a world of challenges and imagination. With the help of solving detective puzzles about the shepherd Jacob, they will free themselves from the locked bibliobus, and at the creative workshop they will discover the secrets of Martin Krpan.

✨ 08. 07. 2025 – Striparska delavnica
Vstopi v svet zgodb, likov in domišljije! Na striparski delavnici bomo pod budnim očesom Jerneje Srebot spoznali osnove pripovedovanja s podobami, ustvarili lastne like ter narisali svoj mini strip. Z nekaj ustvarjalnosti, svinčnikom in barvami bodo nastale čisto prave stripovske dogodivščine! Delavnica je primerna za vse, ki radi rišejo, sanjarijo in pripovedujejo zgodbe.

✨ 09. 07. 2025 – narisanabeseda
Razstava Pesmi v grafiki predstavlja dela, ki so nastala v okviru večletnega projekta z istim naslovom. Projekt v ospredje postavlja regionalne pesnike in njihove pesmi kot navdih za grafike. Vsak umetnik si izbere eno pesem, na katero nato naveže svojo grafiko, del naklade pa nadgradi z intervencijo.
Mentorica Silvija Šutej bo najprej otrokom razkazala razstavo, nato si bodo prebrali pesmi in se lotili ustvarjanja. Otroci si bodo iz pesmi izbrali tisto, ki jih bo najbolj nagovorilo. Glede na inspiracijo bodo ustvarili risbo z barvicami, nato pa bodo, podobno kot umetniki, dodali še intervencijo, ki ne bo v risarski tehniki.

✨ 11. 07. 2025 – Potovanje skozi legendo
Otroke bo obiskal prav poseben gost – bibliobus Mestne knjižnice Postojna! Ta potujoča knjižnica ne navdušuje le z bogato zbirko knjig in dvema prijaznima knjižničarjema, Rokom in Senijo, temveč tudi s čudovito zunanjo podobo, na kateri pozdravljata legendarna junaka – pastirček Jakob in Martin Krpan.
Ob spoznavanju njunih zgodb se bodo otroci podali v svet izzivov in domišljije. S pomočjo reševanja detektivskih ugank o pastirčku Jakobu se bodo osvobodili iz zaklenjenega bibliobusa, na ustvarjalni delavnici pa bodo odkrivali skrivnosti Martina Krpana.
