This school year was the fourth for the Schellenburg Boys ' Choir and for many of the choir members, when Tuesday afternoons were devoted to singing education and singing together , getting to know new musical literature from Gregorian chant to contemporary choral music. Of course, also socializing and sports relaxation during pauses.
During this year, the choir underwent quite a few changes. Tereza Podlogar took over the leadership of the choir in September, and the special feature of this year's choir is that the voices of some members of the choir have already grown from boys 'to boys'. The choir thus acquired a new color and expanded its repertoire . They enriched the liturgy with their singing, prepared a Christmas concert and participated in the children's choir show.
At the annual concert 28. May in Ljubljana and 4. in June in Domzale, young singers presented us with a selection of songs with which we walked through Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter, and also listened to the works of the mass Ordinariate.

With the concerts they also thanked God for all the gifts that the creator had entrusted them in their lives and for the many opportunities that they could develop.

The auditions will take place on Tuesday, 20. in June 2017 at 16. hours in the Hall of the Ursuline Cultural Center in Ljubljana (entrance from Plecnik square 1A, next to the Emona cellar).

Letošnje šolsko leto je bilo za Deški zbor Schellenburg in za marsikaterega od članov zbora že četrto, ko so bili torkovi popoldnevi namenjeni pevski vzgoji in skupnemu prepevanju , spoznavanju nove glasbene literature od gregorijanskega korala do sodobne zborovske glasbe. Seveda pa tudi druženju in športni sprostitvi med pavzami.
V tem letu je zbor doživel kar nekaj sprememb. Vodenje zbora je septembra prevzela Tereza Podlogar , posebnost letošnje zasedbe zbora pa je, da so glasovi nekaterih članov zbora iz deških že prerasli v fantovske. Zbor je tako dobil novo barvo in razširil svoj repertoar . S svojim petjem so obogatili bogoslužje, pripravili božični koncert in sodelovali na reviji otroških pevskih zborov.
Na letnem koncertu 28. maja v Ljubljani in 4. junija v Domžalah so nam mladi pevci predstavili izbor skladb, s katerimi smo se sprehodili skozi adventni, božični, postni in velikonočni čas, prisluhnili pa smo tudi delom mašnega ordinarija.

S koncertoma so se tudi zahvalili Bogu za vse prejete darove, ki jim jih je Stvarnik zaupal v njihovem življenju ter za mnogo priložnosti, da jih lahko razvijajo.

Mladi pevci bodo veseli, če se jim bodo v prihodnjem letu pridružili še novi člani.
