Most people know Clark Kent as a handsome, dedicated – and sometimes a little awkward – reporter at the Dail's television Planet. But no one knows that he hides in himself a deep rift between Kryptonian heritage and human upbringing.
His home planet Krypton was destroyed in a cataclysmic accident, and his parents sent him as an infant to a distant, unpredictable world – Earth. There he is adopted by the Kent couple, a loving couple who cannot have children. Educate him in the spirit of truth, justice and compassion – values that the world often regards as relics of the past.
Superman is not the greatest of superheroes because he is the strongest or because he can fly. His true strength lies elsewhere – in the humanity he embodies in a world where values such as compassion, courage and hope are losing their brilliance.

Večina ljudi pozna Clarka Kenta kot postavnega, predanega – in včasih malce nerodnega – novinarja pri časopisu The Daily Planet. A nihče ne ve, da v sebi skriva globok razkol med kriptonsko dediščino in človeško vzgojo.
Njegov domači planet Kripton je bil uničen v kataklizmični nesreči, starša pa sta ga kot dojenčka poslala na oddaljen, nepredvidljiv svet – Zemljo.
