Thursday, 14. in August 2025, the creative video and artificial intelligence workshop will take place in the cultural incubator, which is being prepared by the Youth Cultural center Maribor in cooperation with the INO Faksi team. The workshop will take place between 10. and 13. it is free of charge, but prior registration is required. The workshop is suitable for participants aged between 8 and 14 years.
Creative video and artificial intelligence is an interactive workshop where we will create fun, creative animations with the help of green screen effect (green screen) and artificial intelligence . No prior knowledge is necessary, but curiosity, the desire to create and a touch of madness benefit!
What are we gonna do?
We will learn the secrets of the green screen (green screen): how it works, why it is green and how it is used by professionals in movies, on the Animatoutube, TikTok... we will look at interesting and fun examples!
Each participant will become a star! We will shoot in front of the green screen in fun and dynamic poses.
We will discover the world of artificial intelligence (AI): we will explain in a fun way how AI “thinks”, how to give it the right instructions (prompt) to create and how to use it safely and responsibly.
With the help of artificial intelligence, we will create unique backgrounds for our cut shots – from space landscapes to fantasy worlds, comic scenes or abstract artwork.
We will combine clips with AI-generated backgrounds and bring the craziest ideas to life in a short animation!
What young people get with the workshop:
Understand the basics of green-screen technology and tricks for good image composition. Understanding the basics of artificial intelligence for image generation and the skills of writing effective “prompts” (instructions for AI). Hands - on experience with tools to remove background, generate images with UI and create simple animations. Stimulating creativity, imagination, ability to solve visual challenges. The basics of teamwork and collaboration to create a joint digital project. Critical thinking about the opportunities and pitfalls of artificial intelligence and its responsible use. Above all, a lot of fun, laughter and motivation for further creations!
Preliminary mandatory applications: the workshop is free, but since the number of places is limited, preliminary applications are mandatory. The workshop will be held with at least five registered participants.

V četrtek, 14. avgusta 2025, bo v Kulturnem inkubatorju potekala delavnica Kreativni video in umetna inteligenca, ki jo Mladinski kulturni center Maribor pripravlja v sodelovanju z ekipi InoQi. Delavnica bo potekala med 10. in 13. uro ter je brezplačna, so pa obvezne predhodne prijave. Delavnica je primerna za udeležence, stare med 8 in 14 let.
Kreativni video in umetna inteligenca je nteraktivna delavnica, kjer bomo s pomočjo green screen efekta (zeleni zaslon) in umetne inteligence ustvarili zabavne, kreativne animacije . Predznanje ni potrebno, koristi pa radovednost, želja po ustvarjanju in kanček norosti!
Kaj bomo počeli?
Spoznali bomo skrivnosti zelenega zaslona (green screen): kako deluje, zakaj je zeleno in kako ga uporabljajo profesionalci v filmih, na YouTube-u, TikToku… Ogledali si bomo zanimive in zabavne primere!
Vsak udeleženec bo postal zvezda! Snemali se bomo pred green screenom v zabavnih in dinamičnih pozah.
Odkrivali bomo svet umetne inteligence (UI): na zabaven način bomo razložili, kako UI “razmišlja”, kako ji dati prava navodila (prompte) za ustvarjanje in kako jo varno ter odgovorno uporabljati.
S pomočjo umetne inteligence bomo ustvarili edinstvena ozadja za naše izrezane posnetke – od vesoljskih pokrajin do fantazijskih svetov, stripovskih prizorov ali abstraktnih umetnin.
Združili bomo posnetke z UI generiranimi ozadji in najbolj nore ideje oživili v kratki animaciji!
Kaj mladi pridobijo z delavnico:
Razumevanje osnov green-screen tehnologije in trikov za dobro kompozicijo slike. Razumevanje osnov umetne inteligence za generiranje slik in veščine pisanja učinkovitih “promptov” (navodil za UI). Praktične izkušnje z orodji za odstranjevanje ozadja, generiranje slik z UI in ustvarjanje preprostih animacij. Spodbujanje kreativnosti, domišljije, sposobnosti reševanja vizualnih izzivov. Osnove timskega dela in sodelovanja pri ustvarjanju skupnega digitalnega projekta. Kritično razmišljanje o priložnostih in pasteh umetne inteligence ter njeni odgovorni uporabi. Predvsem pa veliko zabave, smeha in motivacije za nadaljnja ustvarjanja!
