PGC secret society Tajno društvo PGC

The PGC secret society is a legendary evergreen text, a children's classic. It was created in 1958 from the pen of the Slovenian writer Anton Ingolic, one of the first authors who, after the war, drew on the real life of young people and addressed their problems in their unusual adventures. With the popular and famous secret society Pingoclavulus, or PGC for short, different generations of children grew up, and for the first time the secret society PGC in a modern interpretation also came to life on our stage.
Ingolic wrote his story at the beginning of the socialist epoch, and our story in the adaptation of the non-combat Popa Tasi documentary takes place at its end, in eighty years. Childlike innocence has been replaced by childlike engagement by Tasi video. Ingolic's children stole and collected drawing pins from bulletin boards, and the children in our performance go one step further and hang their poems and slogans with these pins, which also provokes a "political" reaction and sanctions.
The performance explores the empty stage, which stimulates the viewer's imagination and allows the performers numerous transformations in space and time. Players ingeniously, playfully and dynamically transition between scenes and various antics of the secret society. In addition to a tense story, interesting characters and peculiar humor, there is no lack of even more serious topics. MIH's story is by no means just a short and dynamic story about Detective collecting drawing pins, but above all a story about heart, courage and friendship.

Mihova zgodba nikakor ni zgolj kratkočasna in dinamična zgodba o detektivskem zbiranju risalnih žebljičkov, ampak predvsem zgodba o srčnosti, pogumu in prijateljstvu.
