A FAKSIOM is the permanent quartet of drummer and composer Dejan Terzi Fak, who has been creating in an unchanged lineup since 2015. Terzi's compositions often come from short, repetitive patterns and expressive rhythmic ideas, from which the musicians together open up a wide space for improvisation. They listen carefully to each other all the time and react to the slightest changes, so the music goes from quiet, airy melodies to violent rhythmic bursts and unexpected turns. In the foreground is not the showing of individuals, but the sound of the entire cast – four strong musical personalities who breathe as one. They recorded the latest, third album, by Gro James as a full-length live act, with no additional titling, subsequent edits or studio embellishment. The recording thus preserves the essence of the band: confidence, spontaneity and jazz that is created in real time.

AXIOM je stalni kvartet bobnarja in skladatelja Dejana Terzića, ki v nespremenjeni postavi ustvarja od leta 2015. Terzićeve skladbe pogosto izhajajo iz kratkih, ponavljajočih se vzorcev in izrazitih ritmičnih zamisli, iz katerih glasbeniki skupaj odpirajo širok prostor za improvizacijo. Ves čas pozorno poslušajo drug drugega in se odzivajo na najmanjše spremembe, zato glasba prehaja od tihih, zračnih melodij do silovitih ritmičnih izbruhov in nepričakovanih obratov. V ospredju ni razkazovanje posameznikov, temveč zvok celotne zasedbe – štirih močnih glasbenih osebnosti, ki dihajo kot eno. Najnovejši, tretji album Grow so posneli kot celovit koncertni nastop, brez dodatnega nasnemavanja, poznejših popravkov ali studijskega olepševanja. Posnetek tako ohranja bistvo zasedbe: zaupanje, spontanost in jazz, ki nastaja v resničnem času.
