The editor Ana Ugrinovi and the author Borut Krasevec will present the novel the day of remembrance (LUD Sherpa, 2026). With them, Sherpa's editor will be Primoz Chuchnik .
The novel Remembrance Day is timed to 1938 and 1939 and draws inspiration from The Manor cottage village, in which they are in the thirties 20 years. for centuries, some Slovenian literati lived and created for a long time, including Oton Zumancic , who translated there and rescued himself from a prolonged creative crisis, and Josip Vidmar , who at that time lived in the next room and also wrote. The novel, whose heroes are fictional, devotes itself to the theme of creation and love, capturing, in addition to literature, theater: the main character is a playwright, and music: one of the heroines is a classical pianist who begins to play in a jazz orchestra. Against the backdrop of the struggle with art and the complex relationships between the performers that drive the dynamic story, a great history rages, invading the private lives of the heroes and demanding from them more and more imperiously to define and engage with it.
Urednica Ana Ugrinović in avtor Borut Kraševec bosta predstavila roman Dan spomina (LUD Šerpa, 2026). Z njima bo Šerpin urednik Primož Čučnik .
Roman Dan spomina je časovno umeščen v leti 1938 in 1939 ter črpa navdih iz graščine Koča vas, v kateri so v tridesetih letih 20. stoletja dalj časa bivali in ustvarjali nekateri slovenski literati, med njimi Oton Župančič , ki je tam prevajal in se reševal iz dolgotrajne ustvarjalne krize, in Josip Vidmar , ki je takrat stanoval v sosednji sobi in tudi pisal. Roman, katerega junaki so izmišljeni, se posveča temi ustvarjanja in ljubezni, pri tem pa poleg literature zajame še gledališče: glavni junak je dramaturg, in glasbo: ena od junakinj je klasična pianistka, ki začne igrati v džez orkestru. V ozadju ubadanja z umetnostjo in zapletenih odnosov med nastopajočimi osebami, ki poganjajo dinamično zgodbo, divja velika zgodovina, ki vdira v zasebno življenje junakov in od njih vse bolj oblastno zahteva, da se do nje opredelijo in angažirajo.
