On the occasion of World Earth Day, the Slovenian Forest Service has traditionally organised a guided tour of 14 selected forest learning routes across Slovenia. Forest educational trails are intended for education and learning about forests and forestry in Slovenia, they are an important tool with which we want to bring interesting facts about forests and the importance of Forestry to the public and contribute to the development of tourism in rural areas as one of the key economic activities in Slovenia. At the entry points of the forest learning trails, foresters are expecting visitors on Tuesday, 22. in April 2025, at 9. uri.
Within the framework of the Open Day, The Forest Service of Slovenia, the regional unit of Gottschee organizes a guided walk along the Rogska walkway.
On this day, visitors are expected at 9.00 am, at the ROG sawmill from where we will go together along the ROG footpath, which leads along the ROG Forest Reserve to the southern entrance of the Rajhenavski ROG Forest Reserve.

This year's theme for World Earth Day is"our power, our PLANET". For 55 years, Earth Day has encouraged us to raise awareness and take action on critically important environmental issues.

Zavod za gozdove Slovenije ob svetovnem dnevu Zemlje že tradicionalno organizira vodenje po 14 izbranih gozdnih učnih poteh po Sloveniji. Gozdne učne poti so namenjene izobraževanju in spoznavanju gozdov in gozdarstva v Sloveniji, so pomemben pripomoček, s katerim želimo javnosti približati zanimivosti o gozdovih in pomen gozdarstva ter prispevati k razvoju turizma na podeželju kot ene ključnih gospodarskih aktivnosti v Sloveniji. Na vstopnih točkah gozdnih učnih poti gozdarji obiskovalce pričakujejo v torek, 22. aprila 2025, ob 9. uri.
Zavod za gozdove Slovenije, Območna enota Kočevje v okviru Dneva odprtih vrat na gozdnih učnih poteh organizira voden sprehod po Roški pešpoti.
Na ta dan obiskovalce pričakujemo ob 9.00 uri, na Žagi Rog od koder se bomo skupaj podali po Roški pešpoti, ki vodi po gozdnem rezervatu Rog do južnega vhoda gozdnega rezervata Pragozd Rajhenavski Rog.

Letošnja tema svetovnega dneva Zemlje je »NAŠA MOČ, NAŠ PLANET«. Dan Zemlje nas že 55 let nagovarja k ozaveščanju in ukrepanju glede kritično pomembnih okoljskih vprašanj.
