FLOWERS IN THE CITY: DILL WILL BLOOM IN THE COLORS AND SCENTS OF SPRING
On Friday, 22. in May, the city center of Koper will come to life under the sign of flowers, creativity and a pleasant city pulse. The flowers in the city event will bring floral creations between 9.00 and 19.00 between Shoemaker's and Mayor's streets and invite you to spend a pleasant time together and enjoy the city center.
FLORAL SCENERY AND LOCAL OFFER
A diverse range of flowers, plants and products related to nature awaits visitors.
The event will also be complemented by providers from the city center, who will spread the floral atmosphere around the city with a themed offer in their premises.
In the street you will also be greeted by a lively enogastronomic offer of the surrounding bars, which will ensure that your taste buds with selected drinks, desserts and local snacks are pampered with a pleasant atmosphere.
CREATION WITH LIVE FLOWERS
An important part of the event will be live creation, led by florist Simon Ogrizek. Throughout the day, he will design flower arrangements from lavender, karst vegetation and roses at his stand, as well as showcase the art of floral design.
At 10.00 and 17.00 you are invited to two interactive workshops, where you will be able to create your own flower arrangements under the guidance and get to know the art of floral design up close.
BRING YOUR OWN BOWL AND CREATE SOMETHING UNIQUE
The workshops will be designed so that visitors can actively engage. They can bring antique containers-from Cups and teapots to plates or glasses – in which they will create unique floral arrangements.
AN EXPERIENCE THAT CONNECTS THE CITY
Flowers in the city is not just an event, but an experience that connects the city center, local providers and visitors. A walk between flower stands and creative corners offers the perfect getaway, inspiration and the opportunity to enjoy the spring atmosphere.
Since Monday, 4. in May 2026 , the exhibition of photographs "may – month of roses: presentation of historical roses", prepared by the Association of rose lovers of Slovenia in cooperation with the Arboretum Volcji Potok, is on display in Koper's small lodge. The exhibition will be on display until 25. in May 2026.
CVETJE V MESTU: KOPER BO ZACVETEL V BARVAH IN VONJIH POMLADI
V petek, 22. maja, bo mestno jedro Kopra zaživelo v znamenju cvetja, ustvarjalnosti in prijetnega mestnega utripa. Dogodek Cvetje v mestu bo med 9.00 in 19.00 uro med Čevljarsko in Župančičevo ulico prinesel cvetlične kreacije in vabil k prijetnemu druženju in uživanju v središču mesta.
CVETLIČNA KULISA IN LOKALNA PONUDBA
Obiskovalce čaka raznolika ponudba cvetja, rastlin in izdelkov, povezanih z naravo.
Dogajanje bodo dopolnili tudi ponudniki iz mestnega jedra, ki bodo s tematsko ponudbo v svojih prostorih razširili cvetlično vzdušje po mestu.
V ulici vas bo pričakala tudi živahna enogastronomska ponudba okoliških lokalov, ki bodo poskrbeli, da bodo ob prijetnem vzdušju razvajane tudi vaše brbončice z izbranimi napitki, sladicami in lokalnimi prigrizki.
USTVARJANJE S CVETJEM V ŽIVO
Pomemben del dogodka bo ustvarjanje v živo, ki ga bo vodil florist Simon Ogrizek. Skozi ves dan bo na svoji stojnici oblikoval cvetlične aranžmaje iz sivke, kraškega rastja in vrtnic ter predstavljal umetnost cvetličnega oblikovanja.
Ob 10.00 in 17.00 vabljeni na dve interaktivni delavnici, kjer boste lahko pod vodstvom ustvarjali lastne cvetlične aranžmaje ter od blizu spoznali umetnost cvetličnega oblikovanja.
PRINESI SVOJO POSODICO IN USTVARI NEKAJ UNIKATNEGA
Delavnici bosta zasnovani tako, da se lahko obiskovalci aktivno vključijo. S seboj lahko prinesejo starinske posodice – od skodelic in čajnikov do krožnikov ali kozarcev – v katere bodo ustvarili unikatne cvetlične aranžmaje.
DOŽIVETJE, KI POVEZUJE MESTO
Cvetje v mestu ni le dogodek, temveč doživetje, ki povezuje mestno jedro, lokalne ponudnike in obiskovalce. Sprehod med cvetličnimi stojnicami in ustvarjalnimi kotički ponuja popoln oddih, navdih in priložnost za uživanje v pomladnem vzdušju.
Že od ponedeljka, 4. maja 2026, je v koprski Mali loži na ogled razstava fotografij »Maj – mesec vrtnic: predstavitev zgodovinskih vrtnic« , ki jo pripravlja Društvo ljubiteljev vrtnic Slovenije v sodelovanju z Arboretumom Volčji Potok. Razstava bo na ogled do 25. maja 2026.
