The Album Two black crows flirts heavily with jazz, but it cannot be limited only to this genre. His compositions carry a touch of songwriting, and in some cases even pop songs. With extremely thoughtful lyrics that complement the music, the project goes beyond simple categorization and offers a holistic musical experience.
In the creation of the album, Jadranka collaborated with famous Slovenian jazz names such as Robert Jukic, Kristijan Krajncan, Ales Susa and Milan Stanisavljevi/. Actor and singer Sasha Tabakovi/, with whom they recorded a duet for the song Two black crows, and Croatian jazz guitarist Elvis Penava added their expressive freshness. The musician and arranger Matija Krecic also played an important role, who wrote string arrangements for most of the songs.
Jadranka Juras determined her successful musical path at the end of the nineties in the popular band Planet Groove, with which they recorded one of the most popular arrangements entitled The Sun. She upgraded her singing and musical knowledge at the Jazz Institute of the University of the Arts in Graz, where in 2008 she graduated from concert jazz singing with prof. Deni DeRose.
The combination of jazz singing, the influence of contemporary popular music and the desire for authorial expression gave birth to two high-profile authorial projects; the debut album entitled Anima and the subsequent album Sakura. Both received excellent reviews, and singles from both records rose to the first positions of the most important radio stations in Slovenia. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with many renowned musicians and composers and performed on many stages at home and abroad. For the past 15 years, she has been improving herself in opera singing and singing on the stages of opera houses. Took it to two jazzovska of the album, two of the jazzovska tags – Paris Honey (2016), and You and I and the Music (2019), in collaboration with the Big Bandom radio-TELEVISION of Slovenia. In 2019, she recorded and released the album one-off, inimitable with the group Okustici, for which in 2021 they received the golden flute for the best album of 2020.
Album Dva črna vrana se močno spogleduje z jazzom, a ga ni mogoče omejiti le na to zvrst. Njegove skladbe nosijo pridih kantavtorstva, ponekod celo popevke. Z izjemno premišljenimi besedili, ki se dopolnjujejo z glasbo, projekt presega preprosto kategorizacijo in ponuja celostno glasbeno izkušnjo.
Pri nastajanju albuma je Jadranka sodelovala z znanimi slovenskimi jazzovskimi imeni, kot so Robert Jukič, Kristijan Krajnčan, Aleš Suša in Milan Stanisavljević. Svojo izrazno svežino sta dodala tudi igralec in pevec Saša Tabaković, s katerim sta posnela duet za pesem Dva črna vrana, ter hrvaški jazzovski kitarist Elvis Penava. Pomembno vlogo je odigral tudi glasbenik in aranžer Matija Krečič, ki je za večino pesmi spisal godalne aranžmaje.
Jadranka Juras je svojo uspešno glasbeno pot odločno začrtala konec devetdesetih let v priljubljeni skupini Planet Groove, s katero so posneli eno izmed najbolj popularnih priredb z naslovom Sonce. Svoje pevsko in glasbeno znanje je nadgradila na Jazz institutu Univerze za umetnost v Gradcu, kjer je leta 2008 diplomiralaiz koncertnega jazzovskega petja pri prof. Deni DeRose.
Kombinacija jazzovskega petja, vpliv sodobne popularne glasbe in želja po avtorskem izrazu je porodila dva odmevna avtorska projekta; prvenec z naslovom Anima in kasnejši album Sakura. Oba sta prejela odlične kritike, singli z obeh plošč pa so se zavihteli na prva mesta najpomembnejših radijskih postaj v Sloveniji. V svoji karieri je sodelovala s številnimi priznanimi glasbeniki in skladatelji ter nastopila na številnih odrih doma in v tujini. Zadnjih 15 let se je izpopolnjevala v opernem petju in pela na odrih opernih hiš. Posnela je tudi dva jazzovska albuma, dva jazzovska albuma – Paris Honey (2016) in You and I and the Music (2019) v sodelovanju z Big Bandom RTV Slovenija. Leta 2019 je s skupino Okustični posnela in izdala album Enkratna, neponovljiva, za katerega so leta 2021 prejeli Zlato piščal za najboljši album leta 2020.
