The guest exhibition of the Loka Museum of the bishop of Loka presents works of art by five authors who are engaged in exploring the dynamic relationship between man and machine and within it with questions about the role and importance of work and the worker in modern society. In different ways, they touch in particular the field of industry, where this relationship has been most defined in the past.
The mentioned theme has already marked many periods of art in the past-especially the time of the historical avant-gardes. Today it is again at the forefront of the interest of many authors. Indeed, the world has advanced more and more in its technological development, with New, developed forms of machines, it is becoming more and more robotized and digitized. At the same time, it is also marked by the consequences of the recent global economic crisis.
Many old and new questions and dilemmas arise, which are raised through their works of art also by the authors at the exhibition. They think about the pitfalls and benefits of progress. About the crisis of values of a society that, in the name of development, increasingly craves quick profits and capital, exploiting and impoverishing the worker. They question the consequences of the fact that the machine is no longer just a human tool at work, but is increasingly becoming a substitute, an invention that pushes its creator out of the work process, which threatens man's earnings and thus his livelihood. They also talk about the successful stories of" cooperation " between man and machine and the importance of preserving the memory of past achievements of technological development, which are now called industrial heritage.

Svet je namreč v svojem tehnološkem razvoju vse bolj napredoval, z novimi, razvitimi oblikami strojev postaja vse bolj robotiziran in digitaliziran.
Razmišljajo o pasteh in prednostih napredka.
