You are invited to the initial workshop – recycled jeans, which is designed for young people from 13-15 years old.
Learning to sew by hand from scrap denim is an activity that revives traditional skills and is at the same time a counterweight to hyper-production, cheapness to things that are easily thrown away. By consuming used denim, we not only take care of the environment, but also breathe uniqueness into the product through reuse. Shared learning and generational knowledge transfer were once crucial, not only for the transfer of skills, but also for the consolidation of mutual relations. The workshop within the project is designed as an acquaintance with the basic material and basic techniques of hand sewing. Participants bring their used jeans with them.

Vabljeni na začetno delavnico – recikliran džins, ki je namenjena mladim od 13-15 let.
Učenje ročnega šivanja iz odpadnega džinsa je dejavnost, ki obuja tradicionalna znanja in je hkrati protiutež hiperprodukciji, cenenosti stvarem, ki jih zlahka zavržemo. S porabo odsluženega džinsa ne poskrbimo zgolj za okolje, temveč s ponovno uporabo vdahnemo izdelku unikatnost. Skupno učenje in generacijski prenos znanja sta bila nekdaj ključna, ne le za prenos veščin, temveč tudi za utrjevanje medsebojnih odnosov. Delavnica v okviru projekta je zasnovana kot spoznavanje osnovnega materiala in osnovnih tehnik ročnega šivanja. Udeleženci s seboj prinesejo svoje rabljene kavbojke.
