Dear fans of sacred music!
You are cordially invited to the Fourth concert of the sacral subscription this year's concert season. The vocal group AURORA will perform , under the direction of choir director Janja Dragan Gombach. The girls have been singing together since 2011 and have a wide range of compositions from the Slovenian and world choral treasures in their repertoire.
The program will feature Christmas compositions by Slovenian and foreign composers, including one of the most famous works by composer Benjamin Brittn, a ceremon The Musical of Carols. Performed around the world at Christmas time, the work consists of 11 songs on Medieval Christmas-themed texts, and is written for female/boys choir, soloists and harp. The Vocal Group Aurora, together with harpist Sofia Ristic, performed the song both in Slovenia and abroad and always enjoyed great success with the audience.
The concert will take place on Wednesday, 11. in January 2017, at the Ursuline Church of Sts. Trinity in Ljubljana, starting at 19.30.

Spoštovani ljubitelji sakralne glasbe!
Vljudno vabljeni na četrti koncert Sakralnega abonmaja v letošnji koncertni sezoni. Nastopila bo Vokalna skupina AURORA , pod vodstvom zborovodkinje Janje Dragan Gombač. Dekleta pojejo skupaj od leta 2011 ter imajo v repertoarju širok nabor skladb iz slovenske in svetovne zborovske zakladnice.
Na sporedu bodo božične skladbe slovenskih in tujih skladateljev, med drugim tudi eno najznamenitejših del skladatelja Benjamina Brittna, A Ceremony of Carols. Delo, ki ga v božičnem času izvajajo po vsem svetu, sestavlja 11 pesmi na srednjeveška besedila z božično tematiko, napisano pa je za ženski/deški zbor, soliste in harfo. Vokalna skupina Aurora je skupaj s harfistko Sofijo Ristic skladbo izvedla tako pri nas kot tudi v tujini in ob izvedbi vedno požela velik uspeh pri občinstvu.
Koncert bo v sredo, 11. januarja 2017, v uršulinski cerkvi Sv. Trojice v Ljubljani, z začetkom ob 19.30 uri.
