Performance canceled due to illness in the ensemble
The first performance of this year's festival of Comedy Theatre "Komigo 2025", namely the trilingual musical (in Slovenian, German and English)" Cabaret Klagenfurt". The following members of the Slovenian Educational Society Zarja from Klagenfurt will be presented on the stage: Helena Gregorn, Roman Petek, Maria Oshina, Modilli Oshina, Silvia Orasche, Fabijan Venetik, Anja Orasche, Majda Furjan-Kutschnig, Dunja Kutschnig, Nina Mortnik, Katja Oshina, Jasmin Osojnik, Katja Osojnik, Tomaz Boskin.
The musical Cabaret Klagenfurt Klagenfurt is an adaptation of the famous 1966 broad-format musical Cabaret, set in bohemian Berlin of the Thirties, a time of wild parties and the rise of Nazism. In this version, the events move to Klagenfurt, where artists from Slovenian and Jewish cultures open a club modeled on the Berlin Kit Kat Club. Their vision of a free art space quickly falls under political pressure.
The main action takes place in the Schneider club and boarding house, where club owners Chantal and Marianne, dancers, elderly Mrs. Schneider, Jewish salesman Herr Schultz, lively miss Kost and American writer Cliff reside. At a nightclub, the latter meets the singer Sall / / Bo / / / with whom he becomes involved in a passionate relationship. But the carelessness of night pleasures is gradually replaced by fear, political tensions and the breakdown of interpersonal relationships.

The Komigo Festival, a Comedy Theatre in Slovene, Italian and Friulian, is organized by the cultural centre of Gorizia, in cooperation with the Teatro SNG Nova Gorica, the Cultural Centre Nova Gorica, the Slovenian permanent theatre (SSG) from Trieste, The Musical Matica, the Santa Croce Academy of music from the Cross near Trieste, the Maja cultural cooperative from Gorizia (Across the border), the PijaR agency from Kranj and the cultural societies: Sovodnje, the Kras brass Orchestra from Doberdob. The project sponsors are the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica (ECOC 2025), Sovodnje OB Sochi and Doberdob and the Slovenian cultural economic association (SKGZ). Financial contributions to the Komigo 25 Project are made by the land of FJK, the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians abroad and abroad, and the foundation of the Gorizia Savings Bank.
Predstava odpade zaradi bolezni v ansamblu
Prva predstava letošnjega festivala komičnega gledališča »Komigo 2025« , in sicer trojezični muzikal (v slovenščini, nemščini in angleščini) »Cabaret Celovec Klagenfurt« . Na odru se bodo predstavili sledeči člani slovenskega prosvetnega društva Zarja iz Celovca: Helena Gregorn, Roman Petek, Maria Ošina, Willi Ošina, Silvia Orasche, Fabijan Benetik, Anja Orasche, Majda Furjan-Kutschnig, Dunja Kutschnig, Nina Smrtnik, Katja Ošina, Jasmin Osojnik, Katja Osojnik, Tomaž Boškin.
Muzikal Cabaret Celovec Klagenfurt je priredba slovite broadwayske uspešnice Cabaret iz leta 1966, postavljen v bohemski Berlin tridesetih let, čas divjih zabav in vzpona nacizma. V tej različici se dogajanje seli v Celovec, kjer umetnici iz slovenske in judovske kulture odpreta klub po vzoru berlinskega Kit Kat kluba. Njuna vizija svobodnega umetniškega prostora hitro pade pod političnimi pritiski.
Osrednje dogajanje se odvija v klubu in penzionu Schneider, kjer prebivajo lastnici kluba Chantal in Marianne, plesalke, ostarela gospa Schneider, judovski prodajalec Herr Schultz, živahna gospodična Kost ter ameriški pisatelj Cliff. Ta v nočnem klubu spozna pevko Sally Bowles, s katero se zaplete v strastno razmerje. A brezskrbnost nočnih užitkov postopoma nadomestijo strah, politične napetosti in razkroj medosebnih odnosov.

Festival Komigo, komično gledališče v slovenskem, italijanskem in furlanskem jeziku, prireja Kulturni dom iz Gorice, v sodelovanju s teatrom SNG Nova Gorica, z Kulturnim domom Nova Gorica, s Slovenskim stalnim gledališčem (SSG) iz Trsta, z Glasbeno matico, z Glasbeno akademijo Santa Croce iz Križa pri Trstu, z kulturno zadrugo Maja iz Gorica (Across the border), z Agencijo PijaR iz Kranja ter s kulturnimi društvi: Sovodnje, pihalni orkester Kras iz Doberdoba. Pokrovitelji projekta so občine Gorica, Nova Gorica (EPK 2025), Sovodnje ob Soči in Doberdob ter Slovensko kulturno gospodarska zveza (SKGZ).
