Greenland is an island in the Arctic, 81% of which is under the ice cover. It represents an area where you can still experience nature and people in an authentic way.
I went on a trip in my own direction and visited cities in West Greenland in 12 days. Sisimiut is a place on the edge of the Arctic Circle, where I experienced a very special story when driving inside in a dog sled. In Ilulissat, a tourist place, we sailed on a small boat among the icebergs, and the capital Nuuk fascinated me with city life. Although it is very different from other places, even here I was overwhelmed by the feeling that you can live and breathe together with nature.
In any case, it was worth experiencing this trip both by boat and by plane, since road connections between places do not exist.
Grenlandija je otok na Arktiki, katerega 81 % površine je pod ledenim pokrovom. Predstavlja področje, kjer lahko še vedno doživiš naravo in ljudi na pristen način.
Na potovanje sem se odpravila v lastni režiji in v 12 dneh obiskala mesta na Zahodni Grenlandiji. Sisimiut je kraj na robu Arktičnega kroga, kjer sem izkusila prav posebno zgodbo pri vožnji v notranjost s pasjo vprego. V Ilulissatu, turističnem kraju, smo zapluli z majhno ladjico med ledene gore, glavno mesto Nuuk pa me je očaralo z mestnim življenjem. Čeprav je zelo drugačno od drugih krajev, me je tudi tukaj prevzel občutek, da lahko živiš in dihaš skupaj z naravo.
Vsekakor je bilo vredno to potovanje doživeti tako z ladjo kot z letali, saj cestne povezave med kraji ne obstajajo.
