This year we are 120. the anniversary of Bozidar Jakac's birth, and at the same time 30 years since Jakac's death, we have prepared an exhibition of Jakac's works from their collection in cooperation with the Gornjesavski muzej Jesenice in Lamut's Art Salon. The series of drawings in Chalk was created in 1939 as a study preparation for the implementation of a larger etching entitled Martinarna with the motif of the interior of the Jesenice steelworks, which Jakac created on the initiative of his friend, the metallurgist Cyril Rekar. From the point of view of the discussed content and depictions of workers and industrial landscape, this is a specialty in Jakac's oeuvre.
