The Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Forestry and renewable forest resources, is organizing the eighth consecutive student forestry camp this year . The camp will take place in the first week of school holidays, from 25. June to 1. in July 2026, at the Scout Environmental Center Gottschee rog.
The Program is co-created by a team of junior employees of the Department of Forestry in cooperation with visiting lecturers – experts in the field of forestry, hunting and Natural Sciences. A varied program awaits the participants: acquaintance with primeval forests and the ecology of the forest, plants and animals (from insects to large carnivores), Botanical wanderings and gathering, an insight into the work of a forester and forest production, as well as numerous leisure activities in nature.
The camp is an excellent opportunity for all students who are thinking about studying forestry or other natural sciences, as well as for those who would like to spend a week in the company of their peers in unspoiled nature, without technology.

Biotehniška fakulteta, Oddelek za gozdarstvo in obnovljive gozdne vire, letos organizira že osmi zaporedni Dijaški gozdarski tabor . Tabor bo potekal v prvem tednu šolskih počitnic, od 25. junija do 1. julija 2026 , v Skavtskem okoljskem centru Kočevski rog.
Program soustvarja ekipa mlajših zaposlenih na Oddelku za gozdarstvo v sodelovanju z gostujočimi predavatelji – strokovnjaki s področja gozdarstva, lovstva in naravoslovja. Udeležence čaka pester program: spoznavanje pragozdov in ekologije gozda, rastlin in živali (od žuželk do velikih zveri), botanična pohajkovanja in nabiralništvo, vpogled v delo gozdarja in gozdno proizvodnjo ter številne prostočasne aktivnosti v naravi.
Tabor je odlična priložnost za vse dijake, ki razmišljajo o študiju gozdarstva oziroma drugih naravoslovnih smeri, pa tudi za tiste, ki bi radi en teden preživeli v družbi sovrstnikov v neokrnjeni naravi, brez tehnologije.
