On the banks of the Isonzo River, the audience listens, while the voices in the audio documentary interpret the landscape on the threshold that extends in front of them.
Spectators across the border are accompanied by an ancient photographic guide that revives some of the archaic rituals that still exist on the threshold between the human and the wild represented by the river.
From the mouth we followed the flow of water back to the source, through dense forests and narrow Slovenian valleys, where we came across seasonal rites of passage, the carnival.
The voices of philosophers and anthropologists interviewed by Andrea Colbacchini create the context in which the images of photographer Ruben Vuaran and the performance led by the artist Roberto Zanini are placed.
Different languages are called to reinterpret the magical world of soca in an attempt to reenact the connection with the landscape that surrounds us through appearances, disappearances and liturgies, establishing a more symbiotic and less exclusively economic/functional relationship.

Na bregovih reke Soče občinstvo posluša, medtem ko glasovi v avdio dokumentarcu interpretirajo pokrajino na pragu, ki se razprostira pred njimi.
Gledalce čez mejo spremlja starodavni fotografski vodnik, ki oživlja nekatere arhaične obrede, ki še vedno obstajajo na pragu med človeškim in divjim, ki ga predstavlja reka.
Od ustja smo sledili toku vode nazaj do izvira, skozi goste gozdove in ozke slovenske doline, kjer smo naleteli na sezonske obrede prehoda, pust.
Glasovi filozofov in antropologov, s katerimi se je pogovarjal Andrea Colbacchini, ustvarjajo kontekst, v katerega so postavljene podobe fotografa Rubena Vuarana in performans, ki ga vodi umetnik Roberto Zanini.
Različni jeziki so poklicani k reinterpretaciji čarobnega sveta Soče v poskusu, da bi skozi prikazovanja, izginotja in liturgije ponovno uprizorili povezavo s pokrajino, ki nas obdaja, in vzpostavili bolj simbiotičen in manj izključno ekonomsko/funkcionalen odnos.
