Big Band Bled celebrates 10 years of activity this year. Founded in October 2016, the orchestra brings together musicians from bled, Gorenjska and other parts of Slovenia, who are united by their love for jazz and bigband music.
The Big Band Bled performs in a classical bigband band, and its repertoire ranges from s amusing and jazz to Slovenian songs and contemporary arrangements of popular music.
During the years of its operation, the orchestra has collaborated with many renowned Slovenian and foreign musicians, including Alenka Godec, Otto Pestner, Uros Peri Alume, Peter Savizon, Ivo Stanic, Kristina Oberjan and many others. At Jazz Camp Kranj 2026, he will present with vocalists Alenka Godec and Ana Bezjak .
The orchestra's permanent guest conductor is the renowned Slovenian guitarist, arranger and producer Primoz Grazic , who, with his musical knowledge and creativity, significantly co-creates the recognizable sound of Big Banda Bled.
Big Band Bled letos praznuje 10 let delovanja. Orkester, ustanovljen oktobra 2016, združuje glasbenike z Bleda, Gorenjske in drugih delov Slovenije, ki jih povezuje ljubezen do jazzovske in bigbandovske glasbe.
Big Band Bled nastopa v klasični bigbandovski zasedbi, njegov repertoar pa sega od swinga in jazza do slovenskih popevk ter sodobnih priredb popularne glasbe.
V letih svojega delovanja je orkester sodeloval s številnimi priznanimi slovenskimi in tujimi glasbeniki, med njimi z Alenko Godec, Otom Pestnerjem, Urošem Perićem, Petrom Savizonom, Ivo Stanič, Kristino Oberžan in številnimi drugimi. Na Jazz Kampu Kranj 2026 se bo predstavil z vokalistkama Alenko Godec in Ano Bezjak .
Stalni gostujoči dirigent orkestra je priznani slovenski kitarist, aranžer in producent Primož Grašič , ki s svojim glasbenim znanjem in ustvarjalnostjo pomembno soustvarja prepoznaven zvok Big Banda Bled.
