This year, the SSHJ theater group took up an author's project and put on the stage a full-length performance of Simon's witness. The script for the play was written by Mateja Zupancic, who also directed the play, according to the book template of the novel of the same name.
The story is about a family where everything is beautiful in appearance, but in fact it is not. Mom has lost hope that she will ever win back the love and respect of her husband, mother-in-law and both sons, dad runs away from domestic problems to work and thinks that everything can be achieved by coercion, the older son Jani is so perfect that it is almost too much, and the younger son Simon repeats 9. class and mentally and physically abuse everyone who gets in his way. Of course, there is a grandmother who interferes with education, a headmaster who defends misdemeanors of delinquent students, a counsellor who tries to deal with the problems of young offenders, a security guard who is beaten, teachers who have to endure Simon's actions. In the end, however - after his father's failed suicide attempt-things somehow fall into place, also with the help of ata Franco, who in the last act tells how important man's actions and our conscience are. In the end, Simon also realizes that work must be invested to get results, that the actions you do have consequences, and that what you sow also reaps.
Gledališka skupina SŠJJ se je letos lotila avtorskega projekta in na oder postavila celovečerno predstavo Simonove priče. Scenarij za predstavo je po knjižni predlogi istoimenskega romana napisala Mateja Zupančič, ki je predstavo tudi režirala.
Zgodba govori o družini, kjer je na videz vse lepo, a v resnici ni. Mama je izgubila upanje, da bo še kdaj pridobila ljubezen in spoštovanje moža, tašče in obeh sinov nazaj, oče beži od domačih težav v delo in misli, da se da s prisilo vse doseči, starejši sin Jani je tako popoln, da je že skoraj preveč, mlajši sin Simon pa ponavlja 9. razred in psihično ter fizično zlorablja vse, ki mu pridejo na pot. Seveda pa je tukaj še babica, ki se vmešava v vzgojo, ravnatelj, ki zagovarja prekrške delikventnih učencev, svetovalna delavka, ki skuša urejati težave mladih prestopnikov, pa varnostnik, ki ga pretepejo, učiteljice, ki morajo Simonova dejanja prenašati. Na koncu pa se - po očetovem neuspelem poskusu samomora - stvari nekako postavijo na svoje mesto, tudi s pomočjo ata Franca, ki v zadnjem dejanju pove, kako zelo so pomembna človekova dejanja in naša vest. Na koncu tudi Simon spozna, da je treba za rezultate vlagati delo, da imajo dejanja, ki jih storiš, posledice, in da to, kar seješ, tudi žanješ.
