Story
The inhabitants of the Moss Entertainment Bottom Farm are enthusiastically preparing for Halloween, but their plans are unexpectedly thwarted by a clumsy farmer who accidentally destroys their favorite pumpkin plantation. Wanting to solve the resulting confusion, Jon embarks on his own scientific experiment, but things soon get out of hand.
When the farmer mysteriously disappears, and a strange and scary creature begins to wander through the forests around Mossingham, Jon and his friends embark on an exciting adventure full of laughter, chaos and unexpected surprises.
Curiosity
The Film retains the traditional stop-motion animation technique with clay (CLA animationmation) for which studio Aardman is world famous. Each second of the film requires as many as 24 individual photographs and precise manual movement of the figurines.

Zgodba
Prebivalci kmetije Mossy Bottom se z navdušenjem pripravljajo na noč čarovnic, a njihove načrte nepričakovano prekriža nerodni kmet, ki po nesreči uniči njihov najljubši nasad buč. V želji, da bi rešil nastalo zmedo, se Jon loti lastnega znanstvenega poskusa, vendar stvari kmalu uidejo izpod nadzora.
Ko kmet skrivnostno izgine, po gozdovih okoli Mossinghama pa začne tavati nenavadno in strašljivo bitje, se Jon in njegovi prijatelji podajo na razburljivo pustolovščino, polno smeha, kaosa in nepričakovanih presenečenj.
Zanimivost
Film ohranja tradicionalno animacijsko tehniko stop-motion z glino (claymation), po kateri je studio Aardman svetovno znan. Vsaka sekunda filma zahteva kar 24 posameznih fotografij in natančno ročno premikanje figuric.
