The Allegria String Quartet brings together academically educated musicians who are united by a passion for music, pedagogical work and joint music making. For many years they have been working in various musical compositions, and in 2021 they connected in a quartet. They regularly give concerts in Slovenia and dedicate themselves to a diverse repertoire of all musical periods and genres. As dedicated educators, they pass on their knowledge and experience to younger generations while maintaining a vibrant concert activity. This time they invited to participate the excellent accordionist Tomaz Marchic, who is the recipient of the highest awards at domestic and international competitions. As a soloist, he has performed in many European countries and has collaborated with the Maribor Philharmonic Orchestra, The New Music Ensemble, and the Vienna Academic Orchestra.
An unusual concert schedule will combine the noble sound of a classical string quartet with a rich expressive range of an accordion.

Godalni kvartet Allegria združuje akademsko izobražene glasbenike, ki jih povezuje strast do glasbe, pedagoškega dela in skupnega muziciranja. Vrsto let delujejo v različnih glasbenih sestavih, leta 2021 pa so se povezali v kvartet. Redno koncertirajo po Sloveniji in se posvečajo raznolikemu repertoarju vseh glasbenih obdobij in žanrov. Kot predani pedagogi svoje znanje in izkušnje prenašajo na mlajše generacije, hkrati pa ohranjajo živahno koncertno dejavnost. Tokrat so povabili k sodelovanju izvrstnega harmonikarja Tomaža Marčiča, ki je prejemnik najvišjih nagrad na domačih in mednarodnih tekmovanjih. Kot solist pa je nastopal po številnih evropskih državah in sodeloval z orkestrom Mariborske filharmonije, Ansamblom za novo glasbo Würzburg ter Dunajskim akademskim orkestrom.
Nenavaden koncertni spored bo spojil plemenit zvok klasičnega godalnega kvarteta z bogatim izraznim razponom harmonike.
