Story
After her mother's death, Rein moves to a village in the Alps. He connects with nature, meditates and works as a snowboard teacher. But then his extroverted father Gijs comes to visit and instantly captivates the young company of his son's friends, with whom he finds himself on a ski tour. He starts flirting with his son's girlfriend Laura. Rein has had enough, and he decides to continue climbing the mountain alone with his father. The struggle for supremacy between father and son slowly escalates into a relentless struggle for survival on a steep and dangerous slope, where Rein feels infinitely more at home than his father.

Zgodba
Po materini smrti se Rein preseli v vasico v Alpah. Poveže se z naravo, meditira in dela kot učitelj deskanja na snegu. Potem pa pride na obisk njegov ekstrovertirani oče Gijs in v trenutku očara mlado družbo sinovih prijateljev, s katerimi se znajde na smučarski turi. Da je mera polna, se začne spogledovati še s sinovo punco Lauro. Reinu je vsega dovolj in odloči se, da z očetom sama nadaljujeta vzpon na goro. Boj za prevlado med očetom in sinom se na strmem in nevarnem pobočju, kjer se Rein počuti neskončno bolj domače kot njegov oče, počasi stopnjuje v neusmiljen boj za preživetje.

»Film naslavlja spreminjajočo se moškost v današnji družbi. Oče in sin, zlagoma oropana sodobnih zahodnjaških privilegijev in tehnologije ter gola pred naravo, sta primorana opustiti osebne zamere in lasten ego. Zgodba se začne v hrupnem in vrvečem okolju smučarskega središča, vrhunec pa doseže na tihih, ledenih in neizprosnih snežiščih in skalnih stenah alpskega visokogorja.«
