From Patagonia to Atacama, the journey is between fire and ice, silence and colors.
In the icy breath of Patagonia, the might of the Perito Moreno Glacier Glitters, the harsh silhouettes of Fitz Ro Aluto, the sacred "grail" of mountaineers and the majestic Torres del Paine Towers, where the wind whispers over the endless Pampas, and the Osorno volcano reigns over the landscape like the White keeper of the South. The route then turns into Valparaiso, a city on steep hills where houses hang over the ocean, streets speak through murals, and colors tell stories.
And then – Atacama, the driest desert in the world. In her most inexorable works, where in some places there has been no precipitation for several centuries, scientists are testing technology to search for life on Mars. But a miracle can happen that only comes every few years. After a few drops of rain, the desert comes to life and is clothed in a rainbow of all colors. A landscape reminiscent of another planet becomes then the poetry of life.

Od Patagonije do Atacame je potovanje med ognjem in ledom, tišino in barvami.
V ledenem dihu Patagonije se blešči mogočnost ledenika Perito Moreno, ostre silhuete Fitz Roya, svetega »grala« alpinistov in veličastni stolpi Torres del Paine, kjer veter šepeta čez neskončne pampe, nad pokrajino pa kot beli čuvaj juga kraljuje vulkan Osorno. Pot nato zavije v Valparaiso, mesto na strmih gričih, kjer hiše visijo nad oceanom, ulice govorijo skozi murale, in barve pripovedujejo zgodbe.
In nato – Atacama, najbolj sušna puščava na svetu. V njenih najbolj neizprosnih delih, kjer ponekod že nekaj stoletij ni bilo padavin, znanstveniki preizkušajo tehnologijo za iskanje življenja na Marsu. Lahko pa se zgodi čudež, ki pride le vsakih nekaj let. Po nekaj kapljah dežja puščava oživi in se odene v mavrico vseh barv. Pokrajina, ki spominja na drug planet, postane takrat poezija življenja.
