The events are already in full swing-Welcome To The Lights!
In the lights it is time again for the traditional light day. The event began on 1. in August, with a weight-bearing race on Molicka Planina, Nanoto's mountain hike, a gathering of veteran athletes and traditional singing around the village. The varied program of sports, cultural, ethnological and entertainment events will continue until Sunday, 9. in August 2026 .
In the coming days, workshops, sports competitions, exhibitions, concerts and displays of domestic heritage will be held at various venues, and the bulk of the events will follow at the weekend:
On Thursday, 6. in August, there will be a gala event on the occasion of the municipal holiday, the opening of the exhibition "alluvial" by Sonja Strgar and a concert by Lucia Zamernik and Klemna Finkst with a band.
On Friday, 7. in August, followed by a folk evening in the village with a demonstration of likof and Gouda, a hike with torches to Breznica and a light night with a performance of local music groups other side and Chufti with guests Viva la Musica and Brass Section.
On Saturday, 8. in August, you can take part in the event Lasko we go to the hills at the cottage on Loki and the Vlcers competition on the hochevarjeva Njiva. At Vlcerski bajta there will be a gathering with folk singers and musicians and vlcerski games, and in the evening there will be a firehouse with S. O. S. quintet.
On Sunday, 9. in August, the day will begin with a morning wake and mortar fire. In the context of events from Stant to Stant, local societies and artisans will present former Customs, chores and their products, while visitors will be able to taste local delicacies and traditional dishes. In the afternoon, the lights will be filled with the music of the Lantern Festival. The ensembles will first perform at various venues around the village, and then the competition part of the festival will begin at the event area.

Part of program 55. The light day is also the closing event of the operation "stories and memories of Water", co-financed by the European Maritime, Fisheries and aquaculture fund (EMPRA).
Dogajanje je že v polnem teku – vabljeni v Luče!
V Lučah je znova čas za tradicionalni Lučki dan. Dogajanje se je začelo 1. avgusta s tekmo v nošenju bremen na Moličko planino, Nanotovim planinskim pohodom, druženjem športnikov veteranov in tradicionalnim petjem po vasi. Pester program športnih, kulturnih, etnoloških in zabavnih prireditev se bo nadaljeval vse do nedelje, 9. avgusta 2026 .
V prihodnjih dneh bodo na različnih prizoriščih potekale delavnice, športna tekmovanja, razstave, koncerti in prikazi domače dediščine, glavnina dogajanja pa sledi ob koncu tedna:
V četrtek, 6. avgusta, bodo na sporedu slavnostna prireditev ob občinskem prazniku, odprtje razstave »Naplavime« avtorice Sonje Strgar ter koncert Lucije Zamernik in Klemna Finkšta z bendom.
V petek, 7. avgusta, sledijo Ljudski večer na vasi s prikazom likofa in gavde, pohod z baklami na Breznico ter Lučka noč z nastopom domačih glasbenih skupin Druga stran in Čufti z gosti Viva la Musica in Brass Section.
V soboto, 8. avgusta , se lahko udeležite dogodka Laško Gremo v hribe pri Koči na Loki in Vlcerskega tekmovanja na Hočevarjevi njivi. Pri Vlcerski bajti bo potekalo druženje z ljudskimi pevci in godci ter vlcerskimi igrami, zvečer pa bo na prireditvenem prostoru gasilska veselica s S.O.S. kvintetom.
V nedeljo, 9. avgusta , se bo dan začel z jutranjo budnico in streljanjem z možnarji. V okviru dogajanja Od štanta do štanta bodo domača društva in rokodelci predstavljali nekdanje običaje, opravila in svoje izdelke, obiskovalci pa bodo lahko poskusili domače dobrote in tradicionalne jedi. Popoldne bo Luče napolnila glasba Festivala Luče. Ansambli bodo najprej nastopili na različnih prizoriščih po vasi, nato pa se bo na prireditvenem prostoru začel tekmovalni del festivala.
