On Sunday, 6. in September 2026, the 41st will be on the air. cross-border Isonzo Regatta from Solkan to Gorizia organized by the Kayak Club of the Isonzo power plant, Kayak Club Shilec, ZSSHDI , the public Institute for Sport Nova Gorica and The Sports Association Nova Gorica under the patronage of the municipalities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica. The Start of the 6 km long recreational descent with dinghies and kayaks is scheduled for 11. uri from the Kayak Club of the Isonzo power station in Solkan (at the ball under the power station). Participants can also participate in the regatta with their own boats, so that the organizers also accept applications at the start, on the day of the event (registration fee per person is 15.00 eur). Children under 12. they do not pay registration fees for flights.
Upon registration, each participant receives a commemorative T-shirt and a card with a lunch voucher. Upon arrival at the destination in Pevmski Park, the participants will return to the kayak center in Solkan, where at about 13.30 there will be a lunch with reward and sociability. The day is dedicated to water sports and entertainment, as well as the promotion and rapprochement of all Gorizians with the beautiful Sochi River. Groups, we suggest that one car, with dry clothes, Park in Pevma (next to the public scales) and the other drive to the start in Solkan. In the event that this is not possible, the organizers will take care of the transport and pick-up of cars in Solkan after the conclusion of the regatta. The organizers recommend all participants appropriate equipment and special caution when crossing the rapids at the kayak center in Solkan. The regatta will also be attended by some representatives of local administrations and organizations from both Gorizia.
V nedeljo, 6. septembra 2026 bo na sporedu že 41. čezmejna Soška regata od Solkana do Gorice, ki jo organizirajo, Kajak Klub Soške elektrarne, Kajak klub Šilec, ZSŠDI , Javni zavod za šport Nova Gorica in Športna zveza Nova Gorica pod pokroviteljstvom občin Gorica in Nova Gorica. Start 6 km dolgega rekreacijskega spusta z gumenjaki in kajaki je predviden ob 11. uri iz čolnarne Kajak kluba Soške elektrarne v Solkanu (pri Žogici pod elektrarno). Udeleženci lahko sodelujejo na regati tudi z lastnimi plovili tako, da organizatorji sprejemajo prijave tudi na samem startu, na dan prireditve (prijavnina na osebo znaša 15,00 eur). Otroci pod 12. letom ne plačajo prijavnine.
Ob prijavi vsak udeleženec prejme spominsko majico in kartonček z bonom za kosilo. Ob prihodu na cilj v Pevmskem parku se bodo udeleženci vrnili v Kajak center v Solkan, kjer bo približno ob 13.30 kosilo z nagrajevanjem in družabnostjo. Dan je posvečen vodnim športom in zabavi ter promociji in zbliževanju vseh Goričanov prekrasni reki Soči. Skupinam, predlagamo, da en avtomobil, s suhimi oblačili, parkirajo v Pevmi (zraven javne tehtnice) z drugim pa se peljejo na start v Solkan. V primeru, da to ni možno, bodo organizatorji po zaključku regate poskrbeli za prevoz in prevzem avtomobilov v Solkanu. Organizatorji priporočajo vsem udeležencem ustrezno opremo in posebno previdnost ob prehodu brzic pri Kajak Centru v Solkanu. Regate se bodo udeležili tudi nekateri predstavniki lokalnih uprav in organizacij iz obeh Goric.
