The events of 80 years ago fatally marked our nation, defining our present and following us into the future. Since that time, which was prolonged for many decades due to the post-war totalitarian regime, many have not recovered to this day, even Slovenian society as a whole has not recovered. What actually happened to us eight decades ago and what is happening to us today, how to dismantle the mountain of injustice and suffering, how to bring a divided and wounded nation closer together, what is the path of reconciliation and forgiveness?
The documentary 3450 - fratricide in a cave under Laresnova Gorica, which presents the story of Slovenian prisoners of war murdered in early June 1945, also raises all these questions. It talks about their journey to death and about hiding and discovering the truth about the crime. The Central protagonosti of the film are the cave under Laresnova Gorica, the victims found in it and the research team that in 2022 excavated 3450 people killed in the worst fratricide in Slovenian history. The film will be presented by the screenwriter and director Dr. Joze Dezhman, chairman of the Commission of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for solving the issues of concealed burial sites.
Watching the film will be followed by a conversation with guests of different disciplines. With us will be the professor of history mag. Jurij Pavel Emersic, psychologist, associate professor of marital and family therapy, Dr. Katarina Lia Kompan Erzar, and theologian, philosopher, psychoanalyst and educator Prof. dr. Tomaz Erzar.
The conversation will be led by Karlin.
Dogodki pred 80 leti so usodno zaznamovali naš narod, opredeljujejo našo sedanjost in nam sledijo v prihodnost.
Film bo predstavil scenarist in režiser dr. Jože Dežman, predsednik Komisije Vlade Republike Slovenije za reševanje vprašanj prikritih grobišč.
Ogledu filma bo sledil pogovor z gosti različnih strok. Z nami bodo profesor zgodovine mag. Jurij Pavel Emeršič, psihologinja, izredna profesorica za zakonsko in družinsko terapijo dr. Katarina Lia Kompan Erzar ter teolog, filozof, psihoanalitik in pedagog prof. dr. Tomaž Erzar.
Pogovor bo vodil Blaž Karlin.
