From 24. to 28. in August 2026, the Sinjem vrh over Ajdovscina will take place for the 32nd time. International Art Colony artists for Caritas with the motto: Blessed are the peaceful. The artists for Caritas project has been carried out by the Diocesan Caritas Koper for 32 years, presenting contemporary art to the public and at the same time raising awareness about the hardships in our environment.
The participants of this year's colony are: LOJZE ADAMMLJE, IVAN BALAZHEVI 6 (Croatia), CHANGZLEM KALMAZ (Turkey), Ziga KORENT, IGOR ORESIC, JERNEJA SMOLNIKAR, Urska STROPNIK SHONC, Natasha SPETNIK STUPAR, SEVERINA Trost SPROGAR and MIHAELA JAKELJ.
The colony is professionally accompanied by Anamarija Stibilj Shajn, an art historian and art critic. The Vidmar family from Sinji vrh takes care of the hospitality.
When creating and socializing, the following accompanying events will take place during the colony:
Tuesday, 25. 8. at 18. uri, at Sinj vrh, Mr. Tomaz Kodric, will offer Holy Mass in memory of all the people who participated in the project and are no longer with us.
On Wednesday, 26. 8. the day will be devoted to media presentations.
On Thursday, 27. 8. "Meeting with art colony artists for Caritas": this day all friends of art and charity who would like to socialize with the artists are invited.
At 17. uri will be shown an exhibition of the created works and an outdoor cultural program:
- theater point of children from the mountain under the direction of Ivica Vidmar and
- performance of the Primorsky musician Gianni Rijavec.
The vicar general of the Koper Diocese of Msgr. will address and thank the artists. Slavko Rebec.
The exhibition of created and donated works will be on display at Sinjem vrh until the end of September.

Od 24. do 28. avgusta 2026 se bo na Sinjem vrhu nad Ajdovščino odvila že 32. mednarodna likovna kolonija Umetniki za karitas z geslom: Blagor miroljubnim. Projekt Umetniki za karitas že 32 let izvaja Škofijska karitas Koper in z njim javnosti predstavlja sodobno umetnost ter hkrati ozavešča o stiskah v našem okolju.
Udeleženci letošnje kolonije so: LOJZE ADAMLJE, IVAN BALAŽEVIĆ (Hrvaška), ŐZLEM KALMAZ (Turčija), ŽIGA KORENT, IGOR OREŠIČ, JERNEJA SMOLNIKAR, URŠKA STROPNIK ŠONC, NATAŠA TAJNIK STUPAR, SEVERINA TROŠT ŠPROGAR in MIHAELA ŽAKELJ.
Kolonijo strokovno spremlja Anamarija Stibilj Šajn, umetnostna zgodovinarka in likovna kritičarka. Za gostoljubje skrbi družina Vidmar iz Sinjega vrha.
Ob ustvarjanju in druženju bodo tekom kolonije potekali še naslednji spremljevalni dogodki:
V torek, 25. 8. ob 18. uri bo, na Sinjem vrhu, g. Tomaž Kodrič, daroval sveto mašo v spomin na vse ljudi, ki so v projektu sodelovali in jih ni več med nami.
V sredo, 26. 8. bo dan namenjen medijskim predstavitvam.
V četrtek, 27. 8. »Srečanje z likovno kolonijo Umetniki za karitas«: ta dan so povabljeni vsi prijatelji umetnosti in dobrodelnosti, ki bi se želeli z umetniki družiti.
Ob 17. uri bo na ogled razstava nastalih del in kulturni program na prostem:
- gledališka točka otrok z Gore pod vodstvom Ivice Vidmar in
- nastop primorskega glasbenika Giannija Rijavca.
Zbrane bo nagovoril in se umetnikom zahvalil generalni vikar koprske škofije msgr. Slavko Rebec.
Razstava nastalih in darovanih del bo na Sinjem vrhu na ogled do konca septembra.
