Visitors to the European capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica-Gorica will be on Saturday, 10. in May, at 20.30 you can experience a dance-robot performance like no other in our country. One of the most spectacular events of this year'S ECOC programme, which is being prepared in cooperation with MN Dance Company and Kersnikova Institute in connection with the project boundless body and two international artists in the field of robotics. In it, first dancers, then some participants, equipped with robotic frameworks, will participate as cyborgs in a synchronized dance of human marionettes.
The dance spectacle is based on the interpretation of the different levels of hell from Dante's Divine Comedy, the setting of the Ten Courts of Hell in Singapore's famous theme park, Ha 6 Par Villa, and other religious interpretations. The authors used the concept of "circles of hell" as a thematic framework for a modern parable of horror, in which the fusion of Man and machine appears as a metaphor for punishments for technological sins in the name of progress.

Obiskovalci Evropske prestolnice kulture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorica bodo v soboto, 10. maja, ob 20.30 lahko doživeli plesno-robotski performans, kot ga pri nas še ni bilo. Eden izmed najbolj spektakularnih dogodkov letošnjega programa EPK, ki ga pripravljajo v sodelovanju z MN Dance Company in Zavodom Kersnikova v povezavi s projektom Brezmejno telo in dvemi mednarodnimi umetniki s področja robotike. V njej bodo najprej plesalci, nato nekateri udeleženci, opremljeni z robotskimi ogrodji, kot kiborgi sodelovali v sinhroniziranem plesu človeških marionet.
Plesni spektakel temelji na interpretaciji različnih nivojev pekla iz Dantejeve Božanske komedije, postavitve Deset sodišč pekla v znanem singapurskem tematskem parku Haw Par Villa in drugih religioznih interpretacij. Avtorja sta koncept »krogov pekla« uporabila kot tematski okvir za sodobno prispodobo groze, v katerem se spojitev človeka in stroja kaže kot metafora za kazni za tehnološke grehe v imenu napredka.
Za sodelovanje v predstavi je potrebna predhodna prijava po elektronski pošti go2025@go2025.eu in sicer do vključno četrtka, 8. maja . Število mest je omejeno, prijave sprejemajo do zapolnitve prostih mest.
