Tourist Association Bohinjska Bela organizes on Sunday, 1. February 2026, 29. hike to Galetovec.
Galetovec is a 1265 m high peak above Bohinjska Bela, from which there is an extremely beautiful view of a large part of Gorenjska. The organized departure is at 8: 30 am from the front of the shop (next to the rot Inn) on Bohinjska Bela. In the shepherd's Hut under the top, all hikers will receive free tea and commemorative medals, and there will also be food. There is no entry fee, no registration is required.
The Ascent will take place over Slamniki, and the descent will take place over the mountain behind the cave and down to Podklanec. The route is marked and will be further marked if necessary. In the lower part of the descent, it is possible to turn left and use the path that leads over a wide cliff, along which we reach almost to the starting point. This can avoid walking on the main road. For families with children, it is more convenient to climb the same path as the descent, i.e. over the mountain behind the cave or along the forest road from the direction of Goryush, from where there is very little difference in altitude.
Due to the lack of snow this year, it will not be possible to ski touring and not even sledding on the Forest Road.
Participation is at your own risk. The route is not technically difficult, in the case of icy trails we recommend hiking crampons. All further information on the course of the route and snow conditions will be published on the page www.bohinjskabela.si.
Parking:
There will be parking spaces in front of the shop (home of the locals), in front of the church and on the slope opposite the restaurant Batisht (for those who will also climb over the mountain behind the cave). Parking in front of the store is limited in time, but on the day of the hike it is possible to park without restriction with the ticket "hike Galetovec 2024", which you receive from the organizer in the parking lot.

Turistično društvo Bohinjska Bela organizira v nedeljo, 1. februarja 2026, 29. pohod na Galetovec.
Galetovec je 1265 m visok vrh nad Bohinjsko Belo, s katerega je izredno lep razgled na velik del Gorenjske. Organiziran odhod je ob 8:30 uri izpred trgovine (poleg gostilne Rot) na Bohinjski Beli. V pastirski koči pod vrhom bodo vsi pohodniki brezplačno dobili čaj in spominske kolajne, poskrbljeno bo tudi za jedačo. Štartnine ni, prijave niso potrebne.
Vzpon bo potekal čez Slamnike, sestop pa čez Planino za Jamo in navzdol na Podklanec. Pot je markirana in bo po potrebi še dodatno označena. V spodnjem delu sestopa je možnost zaviti levo in uporabiti pot, ki vodi čez Široko peč, po kateri pridemo skoraj do izhodišča. S tem se lahko izognemo hoji po glavni cesti. Za družine z otroci je bolj primeren vzpon po isti poti kot poteka sestop, torej čez Planino za Jamo ali po gozdni cesti iz smeri Gorjuš, od koder je zelo malo višinske razlike.
Zaradi pomanjkanja snega letos ne bo možen turni smuk in tudi ne sankanje po gozdni cesti.
Udeležba je na lastno odgovornost. Pot tehnično ni zahtevna, v primeru poledenele poti priporočamo pohodne dereze. Vse nadaljnje informacije o poteku poti in snežnih razmerah bodo objavljene na strani www.bohinjskabela.si.
Parkiranje:
Na voljo bodo parkirni prostori pred trgovino (Domom krajanov), pred cerkvijo in na Podklancu nasproti gostilne Batišt (za tiste ki se bodo tudi povzpeli čez Planino za Jamo). Parkiranje pred trgovino je sicer časovno omejeno, vendar je na dan pohoda možno parkirati brez omejitve z listkom »Pohod Galetovec 2024«, ki ga prejmete od organizatorja na parkirišču.
