LIBERT / FREEDOM / FREEDOM
This year's Edition is created under the sign of freedom-the desired, denied, sought and conquered freedom, which permeates stories, ignites voices and locates itself in landscapes.
For the first time ever, the festival will offer as many as five opera productions, the most so far, exploring the theme of freedom in various ways. Along with them will sound new creations and reinterpretations of traditional works that transcend borders, languages and affiliations.
The festival audience is invited to indulge in the power of music, surprise and transformation among vineyards, historical ambiences and places of memory. It is today that opera is needed more than ever – alive, modern and free.
Vila vipolze will host the show "Sempre libera", which will be on the 3rd. in July 2026 at 21: 00.

More detailed description:
The story is based on the life of Marie Duplessis, a famous Parisian courtesan who died of tuberculosis in 1847 at just twenty-three years old. The French writer Ale 6andre Dumas fils was also fond of her, and from this personal experience he created a realistic image of the world, which he himself called "demi-monde".
The decision of the composer Giuseppe Verdi to set to music the story of a courtesan who is forgiven by love, and then rejected by society, was also not accidental. In it, he recognized the reflection of his own relationship with Giuseppina Strepponi, a later second wife, a woman of a turbulent past, an unmarried mother and a singer exhausted from life. Since the composer lived unmarried with her at that time, their relationship caused a huge scandal in society.
The show follows the story through the words of the novel and includes in key places the most famous arias from the opera La traviata. Thus, it brings the opera genre closer even outside the theater stage, especially in exceptional atmospheres, which further emphasize its expressive power and suggestiveness.
